Hello there

Sharing a fun card with you all today and something fun that will be at MFT each month, called Vault Release’s…this means that we are bringing back the golden oldies in stamps and dies, I just know you will all love this, with some small changes to these products to make them feel new all over again, plus if in the past you never had an opportunity to purchase well you get to now..

I am sharing one of Birdie Brown’s first designs called Sweet Birthday Wishes..

I took the little cupcake girl, stamped her out and coloured up her hair, skin, bows, the cupcake and her shoes, with her dress I paper pieced using some pattern paper from the Party Patterns paper pad..

On the card front I took white card stock and ran it through the die cutting machine die cutting a frame using the Stitched Rectangle Frames, adding foam tape to the frame for dimension, adding this to a white card base and with the inner section I stamped with Wild Wisteria using the All Lined up Background Stamp, adding this to the frame..

I added my little girl off to one side and finished the card by stamping and embossing a sentiment onto some Wild Wisteria card stock and scattering of sequins..

Be sure to head to the blog to check out more about the Vault Release and all the goodies from the DT…

Enjoy the wonderful surprise!

Hi there

Have you all enjoyed the Countdown, I sure hope so..

So today is the day that you can start shopping, how fun, I cannot wait to see what you all create..

Be sure to head to the blog today, as we have many guests joining us today for the fun..

I chose to create with the Abstract Doodle and create a masculine card, I know a few people struggle with ideas on what to create for those men in our lives..

I took a white panel and stamped one of the Abstract Doodle images onto the card 3 times in Summer Splash, Limelight and After Midnight inks..

I then took the free die of the month when you spend $60 or more called Little Hello Die and die cut it 4 times using white card stock, adhering each of the layers together….

I added this to the inked area and then embossed a sentiment from the Bitty Birthday Wishes onto Black Licorice card stock, die cutting it out using the Skinny Strips die, adhering this under the Hello..

To complete the card I die cut several stars out of the matching coloured card stock using a star die from the Blueprints Tag Builder 6..

Enjoy your shopping day!

Hello there

Gosh, we are finally here at Day 1 of the Release Countdown for August, I know you will just love playing with all the new goodness..

I have created a card using the Birdie Brown, Call the Shots set, such a cute set..

I coloured up all my stamped images with Copics, die cut them out and set aside..

I then took a white panel of card stock and using the Lots of Hearts Stencil, I applied some Natural ink over the top, making sure to taper off so it was just a light fade..

I then took some Black Licorice card stock and stamped and embossed a sentiment onto this adding this to the card base..

I completed this card by adding a strip of pattern paper from the Black and White Stripes paper pad and then added my images above this..

Be sure to head to the blog to see even more amazing creations today..

We are now heading into Day 2 of the August Release Countdown and I sure hope you are enjoying all the fun creations from the DT, there is even more to be had today over on the blog..

So today, I created this card using the Best Witches set..

I stamped out the little witch and coloured her in with Copics, then die cut out, now I am going to be honest here and say I made a boo boo with the die cutting and it looked terrible once I took it off the plates, the die had moved so all the white was to one side..so it was back to the old tradition to salvage my little image and fussy cut out..

I set her aside and worked on the rest of the card, to which I took a white panel and die cut a circle out using Circle Stax 1, adding some blending to this using some Lemon Drop and Orange Zest..

I added some stamped bats to the circle and then added my little witch..

I went back to the die cutting machine and die cut 2 Eerie Trees out of Cement Gray..

Next, I trimmed a piece of Black Licorice Card stock and a piece of pattern paper from the Over the Rainbow paper pad..

I added all of my pieces to the card and completed the card by stamping a sentiment to a piece of white card stock to which I added between the Black and the pattern paper…

I hope you will swing past again tomorrow to view Day 1 of the August Release Countdown..

Have a fabulous day!

  • Kristen

Really cute placement of your elements on this card, great idea adding the trees to the sides, make it really well balanced. I’m loving this set, so many cute ideas!ReplyCancel

  • Tara Prince

    so adorable!!ReplyCancel

  • Tina Michael

Love this card. Such a cute scene.ReplyCancel

Gosh we are already halfway through the August Release Countdown, I hope you are loving what you are seeing?

We have even more installed today so be sure to head over to the blog..

I created a card using 1 of Birdie Brown’s latest sets for this month called Squirrel, super super adorable set..

I stamped out the image and coloured with Copics, die cutting and setting aside..

Whilst at the die cutting machine, I took some Cement Gray card stock and the Single Stitch Line Rectangle frame die cutting several layers, adhering the frame together to form dimension and adding this to a white card base along with the inner part of the frame..

I then took white card stock and ran the Birch Trees through several times, adhering these to the inner section of the frame to form my scene..

Lastly, at the die cutting machine I took the Tucked In Turf Vertical die cutting into some Sour Apple card stock, with this I trimmed down and added some Sour Apple ink to the base of this card stock, adding this over the trees at the base of the framed area…

To complete this card I added my Squirrels and embossed a sentiment onto some Black Licorice card stock that I trimmed and added at the top portion of the frame and card..

Be sure to head back tomorrow to see what is installed for day 2..

Thanks for stopping by!

  • Lagene

Hi there

Did you all get a chance to check out the goodies of the Day 5 Countdown? I hope you are loving what you see..

We have more installed or Day 4 so be sure to head to the blog to see even more amazing creations..

I chose to work with the new Stacey Yacula set called, Spooktacular Friends..

Stamping out the images I wished to use and colouring with Copics, adding more shadows and depth using my Polychromos, die cutting out and setting aside to work on the rest of the card..

Taking a panel of white card stock, I masked off the bottom section of the card stock and at the top of card, I blended Orange Zest and Lemon Drop inks..

Once happy with the blending I stamped the tree from the stamp set and added my images..

I completed this card by stamping a sentiment under the masked area..

This set is one of my favourites for the month and I sure hope you will love it too..

Have a wonderful day!

  • Sherri Little
