Hi there

So today has been an incredibly hot day with a max temp of 47 degrees, so in Fahrenheit 116, darn hot, with fires raging here in Australia and watching what is unfolding my heart breaks for everyone involved, currently we are safe, but the odd fires have popped up…please can I ask you all to keep everyone in your thoughts..

So today being super hot, it was really hard to craft, but non the less I managed to pull a card together to share with you all, that card is another card for the Release Countdown at MFT and we are halfway through..

Be sure to head to the blog to see even more amazing creations..

I chose to work with the Pure Innocence, Soft Place to Land..

Colouring my image with Copics and die cutting..

I then took a white panel of card stock and stamping several hearts with Tickled Pink ink from the Cute Conversation, adding a sentiment down one side of the stamped hearts from the Smitten with You…

I finished the card by adding my image and a scattering of sequins to match..

I will be back again soon with yet another card from the countdown..

Have a wonderful day, please be safe where ever you may be..

Hi Again

Today at MFT we are sharing the January Release Countdown Day 4 and have even more wonderful products installed for you, not only more products but even more creations from the DT so be sure to head over to the Blog to check them all out..

I created a card using the new Stacey Yacula stamp set called Kissing Booth, such sweet little images..

I stamped and coloured my images with Polychromos, die cutting out and setting aside..

I then took a white panel and added Blue Breeze ink to the bottom half of the card stock and set this aside..

Next, I headed over to the die cutting station and using the Freebie die of the month when you spend over $60 Lots of Love, I die cut the word several times ending with the top layer of Silver Sparkle card stock..

I added my word at the top of the inked panel along with my little images and completed this card by stamping and embossing a sentiment from the Smitten with You stamp set onto Black Licorice card stock, die cutting around the sentiment using Skinny Strips and adding this to the very base of the panel..

I will be back again tomorrow with even more fun inspiration..

Hello everyone and Happy New Year to you all, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year…

The new year begins and so does the January Release Countdown for MFT, so be sure to head to the blog to see all the amazing creations from the team..

I chose to work with one of the latest releases from Birdie Brown called, Let’s Stick Together, the cutest cacti ever..

I coloured my images in with Copics and Polychromos and set it aside once die cut..

I then took some Kraft card stock and die cut a panel using the A2 Stitched Rectangles, on the inner section I took the Love is in the Air Stencil and applied Sweet Tooth Pigment ink adding a fluttering of hearts..

With the outer section of the card stock, I added foam tape and added to another piece of kraft card stock, to which I then added to a white card..

I adhered the inner section back into the panel and added sentiment to the base and completed the card by adding my image and a few enamel hearts..

I look forward being back here tomorrow with Day 4.

Have a fantastic day!

I always love seeing Kraft paper used in cards. This one really works well. Thanks, Joy!ReplyCancel

  • Aww, what a sweet card! I love the simpleness of it, and the Kraft cardstock is great in that it really helps the cacti image pop out. Love the white hearts in the background, too!ReplyCancel

Hi there!

Sweltering weather here today so not a lot has been done..

However, I did manage to create and have fun with this months Birthday Project and I sure hope you all will join me in the fun and create for a chance to win, be sure to head over HERE to see inspiration to get you started..

I never got a chance to play with the You Have My Heart stamp set that was released in an earlier Vault Release, so I took the opportunity to colour up one of those images..

I added this to a window area that I die cut into a white panel card front, using the Square Peek-a-Boo Window, adding pattern paper from the Party Patterns to the back..

I then took some sentiments from the Bitty Birthday Wishes and stamped and embossed onto Wild Wisteria card stock, die cutting each of these with Skinny Strips, adding these under the window..

I completed this CAS card by die cutting some hearts from the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 and adding some either side of the sentiments..

At this time of the year we still have a lot of birthdays and we all know we need to throw a card together really quickly, so I hope you will find some inspiration in this card..

Enjoy your day, stay cool, warm and most of all be safe with fires, snow and rains where ever you are in the world..

Hi there

Back as promised with the latest Sketch Challenge from MFT, this time we are sitting at number 468, I sure do hope you will find time in your busy December schedule to play along, be sure to head over HERE to see more inspiration and details on how you can enter for a chance to win..

I chose to create my last Christmas card for the season and colouring a cute little dog from the Deck the Howls with Polychromos..

I then took a white panel and using some Sour Apple Ink, I applied through the Basic Shapes Circle Stencil up one side of the panel, making sure to overlap each circle..

I stamped a sentiment onto Black Licorice card stock that I embossed with white embossing powder and using the Skinny Strips die, die cutting the sentiment, adding this towards the bottom of the inked panel..

I finished this card by adding my little dog and a scattering of sequins..

Have fun creating..

Hello again

Back to share a second card using some great products being released from the Vault this month, this time working with, Strike Up the Band..

I never got to play with this set, so I was delighted to see that MFT have brought it out of the vault this month, I mean those cute mice are so adorable..

I stamped mine out and coloured with Polychromos, die cutting and setting aside..

Whilst at the die cutting station, I took Black Licorice card stock and the Our Town Die, die cutting into the card stock..

I then trimmed a piece of After Midnight card stock and adding some stenciling using the Radiating Rays stencil, along with some Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, adding some Black Licorice at the top..

I added this to a white card panel and my Our Town die along with my little mice..

Completing this card by adding a sentiment at the base along with some glitter gel pen dots over the stenciled area..

Be sure to head to the blog and see all the other wonderful creations by the DT..

I will be back a bit later with the latest sketch challenge, so be sure to head back..

Have a great day!
