Hi again

So I am back with Day 2 of the Card Kit and Stacey Yaccula, Tweet Friends..

Once again I have stuck with Tweet Friends again and am sharing a simple card that you could easily mass produce..

I stamped out all the images that I wished to use, coloured with Copics and die cut out..

I then trimmed a piece of white card stock that I added a soft hue of Berrylicious ink to the centre of the panel..

Once I was happy with the blending I added my images and completed the card by adding a white embossed sentiment to a strip of Black Licorice card stock..

Final completion was to add some enamel dots..

Be sure to swing on past the Blog to see everyone’s creations..

Hugs

Lovely card Joy. Are they natural shadows created by your popped up coloured elements or did you shade them with your Copics? Amazing colouring.ReplyCancel

Hello

I trust you have had a wonderful weekend…

I have more creations for you to view again this week, I start you off with the latest from Stacey Yaccula, now although the card kit is all about Good Time to Wine, MFT also release the wonderful set of Stacey’s, so I chose to change it up and use her stamps seeing as I have not had a chance to create with them since MFT brought Stacey on as a designer..

With this card, I added some stencil work in the background, by using the Framework Stencil, adding After Midnight, Poppy and Lemon Drop to the card..

Once I was happy with the bold look, I added the little birdie with the crown that I had stamped and coloured with Copics..

I completed the card, by adding some white gel dots and a sentiment that I die cut using Essential Speech Bubbles..

I hope you look forward to the next few days of the card kit and Stacey’s beautiful birds..to view all the inspiration head over HERE..

I will be back tomorrow..

Hugs

Hello

Before I jump into today’s post, I just wanted to thank everyone for the lovely birthday wishes for today, it has been a great day and it has been lovely to be so loved all around the world…

Now, onto the post, it has been awhile since I shared a card for the Color Challenge and I decided to jump in this month after a long hiatus, so I am playing with 107 and I sure do hope you will find some time to play along with us, just click HERE for more details..

I chose to use all card stock on my card and use all the colours which are Wild Cherry, Cotton Candy, Limelight and Summer Splash, all super fun colours together..

So in order to get all the colours onto this card I started with die cutting into each colour using the Happy Birthday Block, I then die cut into a Black Licorice panel and added this to a black card base…

Next, was to add the colours to which some I added foam tape for dimension and others glue directly into place..

I added sentiments from the Essential Sentiments and Bundle of Balloons to which I embossed with white embossing powder..

To complete the card I die cut a balloon from the Balloon Alphabet out of some Gold Sparkle and added this to the card also..

Thanks for popping in today to check out the inspiration to get you started on your Challenge card..

Hugs

Back again..

I hope you have all enjoyed the release..

We are now up to that time of the week again and the fun begins for you to join the latest sketch challenge..

We are currently up to number 415 and would love to see you play along, for more details and inspiration just head over HERE..

I chose to use the Fluttering Friends set and stamped out a dragonfly that I then coloured with my Polychromos, die cutting out and setting aside..

I worked on the rest of the card by taking a piece of Sno Cone card stock and stamping Roses all Over, covering the entire panel to which I then embossed with White Embossing Powder..

Die cutting a circle into the panel, that I then adhered to a white note card..

Next, I took a sentiment from the Fluttering Friends, stamped onto some Cement Gray card stock and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder, die cutting using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips, adding this to the circle feature..

I completed the card by adding my dragonfly and a scattering of Clear Sequins..

Enjoy playing along this week..

Hi there

So we have come to the end of the release so that means today is all about the buying, I sure do hope you find some early Christmas presents..

Today over at the Blog and here we are sharing more inspiration using the December Release and sharing some fun with other friends in the crafting industry..

I chose to work with Fox and Friends for my card today, keeping it very CAS style..

Stamping out the fox and mouse from the set, colouring with Copics and die cutting out, setting aside..

I then took some white card stock along with some masking paper that I tore to create a hill of snow, adding this to the card and taking Blue Yonder ink I applied to one side, making sure to taper off around the edges to soften..

I felt that the card was going to be too plain so I took a tree from the Friends in the Forest set and embossed a tree with Silver Embossing Powder..

I added my little critters and stamped a sentiment onto white card stock that I die cut with Essential Slanted Sentiment Strips, adding a piece of pattern paper from the Black and White Stripes, adding this under the critters..

I completed the card by adding some drops of glitter glue to the tree..I hope you enjoy viewing everyone’s cards today and more importantly, have fun shopping!!

Hugs

Hello again

Well today is day 1 of the countdown and that really does mean it is so super close, I hope you have your wish lists started..

For day 1 I am sharing a no line colouring, but I have to say I think I need a lot more practice a lot more LOL, but hey the only way to learn is keep trying..

So I took the Beautiful Bloom and Grout Gray ink, I stamped the image onto some Grout Gray card stock and coloured with my Polychromos..

Once I was happy with the look I stamped a sentiment from the Hello, Beautiful Stamp Set, embossing with white embossing powder and die cut using the Essential Slanted Sentiment Strips..

Before adhering the sentiment I took stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 29 and embossed into the card stock, giving a soft border..

I added the sentiment at the base of the flower and finished off with a scattering of Clear Sequins..

Don’t forget to swing past the Blog to see the rest of the DT creations…
