Evening everyone. Sorry about the late posting today, I have been really busy cleaning the house, so that I can have the time in the craft room this weekend. Also lack of sleep last night causing me to start late on the house cleaning. Anyway, nearly all done.

I was also amazed that I managed to fit in making a card for tonight’s posting. I got to break out my Everyday Button Bits stamp set from Papertrey Ink, I have had these for quite some time and haven’t really had the chance to use them, so I was really excited when this little card came together. I thought that you could use it for Valentines Day or even a little baby card.

I used some Papertrey Ink lemon tart cardstock as the card base, stamped Darkroom Door dots background stamp in versamark ink on bottom of the card, embossed it with clear embossing powder, set it aside. I then cut out a piece of SBB white Cardstock from Scrapbook Boutique, with Spellbinder lables 8 die, leaving the die attached to the cardstock, I blended some Papertrey Ink aqua mist for sky and spring moss for the grass. I proceeded to stamp Everyday Button Bits, birds from Papertrey Ink, in Memento Tuexedo black ink and added Basic Grey lemonade buttons for their bodies, Kaisercraft pearls for their eyes, stamped two little wings in a colorbox ink, bisque, attatched all pieces together and placed Stampin Up dimensionals to image and sentiment before being placed on the card base, lastly corner rounded the card with We R Memory Keepers corner chomper to match the spellbinder die and added some little glitter hearts from Heidi Grace signature heart accents.

Most of all products used apart from Papertrey Ink and Stampin Up, were brought through Scrapbook Boutique, great website!

I thought that this little card turned out quite sweet.

I hope that you have enjoyed looking at today’s card and that you get to relax for the rest of the evening.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello and happy Wednesday. The middle of the week, YAY! Isn’t it a great feeling, the weekend is fastly approaching which I am loving as I am off this weekend. So that means time in the craft room to play with all my goodies that I got the other day.

Onto today’s card. A male card, how many times do we struggle to make one of these cards, well at least I do, so when the lovely Jennifer McGuire showed how to use alcohol inks in the tutorials on Thinking Inking I saw a great opportunity to make, hence, a male card using this technique.

This card is also on Scrapbook Boutique’s Blogspot, I have placed a tutorial on there of how this card came together so if you are wanting the instructions pop over and take a look.

I had a lot of fun with this technique.

Short post today, will catch you all tomorrow. Have a great Wednesday!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello All. I hope that you are enjoying your Tuesday, ours again is very hot and I cannot wait for the change in weather to arrive, whenever that will be……..LOL. Okay enough winging about the weather, onto todays card as I promised you last night.

I made this little owl card sometime ago, when I started guest designing for Scrapbook Boutique, it was my very first card made from the silhouette machine, and as you know I just love owl cards……LOL. This card I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire, when she was making her video tutorials on Thinking Inking.

The owl was altered from the original design on the silhouette as was the little branch that the owl sits on, I wanted the owl to look just slightly different for my card and with the silhouette it gives you the option of deleting some parts of the image that you don’t wish to cut.

I used various different coloured cardstock, kraft cardstock for the base card, cosmo cricket paper and stamped image of Raindrop Background from Hero Arts, added the little sentiment at the bottom once all the pieces were attached.

I thought that he turned out pretty cute and with inspiration from Jennifer McGuire to get me started it came together quite easily.

Enjoy your day!

Hi Everyone. Today, another stinker of a day with heat I am quite sure that we reached 45 degrees or above and it still feels like it is in the middle 30’s now. Mother Nature at her best, worst luck.

Well as promised I got my Mega Scrapbook Haul from Scrapbook Boutique today, and it was a huge box………..LOL.

I received some money for my Birthday and also Christmas and seeing as my Birthday is not far off Christmas I got to join the 2 amounts together and have a crazy splurge, which indeed I did. I won’t go into details and bore you with a list of what I purchased, but lets just say that there was heaps in this box for me to go and have a lot of fun with, hopefully the photos speak for themselves.

Photo 3 is everything out of the box……LOL, I told you it was huge………LOL.

So why not pop over to Ev’s store on the net at Scrapbook Boutique and have a look!! She offers a great layby service, rewards program, 10% of your first order, great postage available etc. She also has a great blog for you to have a look at and you can go to that by clicking on this link www.scrapbookboutiquenews.blogspot.com, this blog will keep you up to date with the latest items that are in the store, designed cards and projects by

Thought that you might like to see another picture of our beautiful furbaby, Roly, I just love this photo of his face, he is the most loyal and loving dog. Isn’t he sweet.

This is the 2nd post for the morning, so make sure you scroll down past Roly to have a look at the card.

Have a great day!

Morning everyone. As the title says this is going to be an early post today as I have to be a work this afternoon.

I am currently showing you some of my past work that I have either made for various people or just for myself, thought that I would try and load these onto the blog first then get some new cards and projects made for you all to have a look at. You can see some of the cards on my sidebar, just a small collection so far.

This card I was again inspired by the lovely Jennifer McGuire, I made this for my Mum for her birthday last year, she loved the little owl and I still love making things with owls on them, however, my partner Darryl just rolls is eyes when I show him a card that has an owl on it and he says not another one and shakes his head…LOL. I think that he is trying to hint at me…..LOL, I am sure he is sick of seeing them….LOL. Unfortunately, that will not stop me as I just adore them.

I used some Carolee Creations paper, something bright for the card and the little owl, which I stamped the other side of the paper then cut him out, blended around his tummy with some Distress Ink, added some coloured pieces of cardstock around his eyes and a little nose, placed the googly eyes over the cardstock, pieced him together, cut out a little branch and stuck them all onto the card adding some feet and a few extra pieces of cardstock and some stamping to add some more elements to the overall card.

Well I hope that you all enjoy what is left of your weekend, think of me having to go to work….LOL. I am sure it is going to be another stinker here today heat wise, YUCK!
