Evening all, hope you have all had a fabulous day. Not much news to tell you all so I will get straight into today’s card.

I finally got around to using some of the Bella, Ever After line that I picked up at my local Scrapbook store not long ago. I started with white card stock for the base card, I then added a strip of Fairy Tale paper along the bottom of the white card, then got out my trusty new sewing machine that I got for my birthday of my Mum, stitched along the top edge of the paper and card. I made a poofy flower and attatched one of the Ever After line brads through the centre to hold the flower together (thanks to Dawn McVey for this great idea). I added a small loop of the ribbon in this collection to the under side of the flower, then proceeded to attatch the flower to the card. I added a Hero Arts sentiment and lastly some blue pearls to finish the card.

This line from Bella stumped me for some reason, I loved it when I first saw it and I still do, but could not think of how and what I wanted to make………..LOL, sometimes that happens to me, I call it brain dropping out of gear……….LOL.

Have a great night everyone.

Morning all, are you all enjoying your weekend? I am loving it, have been able to catch up on a little sleep and do some crafting which I always like to do.

I am here posting this morning as I have to go and do some awful house work………LOL, although if I do get some time later on I may be back to post again, lets just see how the day goes.

Today’s card I couldn’t resist another felt looking card……….LOL, sorry guys I just love them. This time I decided to use a woolie from Basic Grey’s lemonade line. I started out with kraft card stock for the card base, I then cut a piece of pattern paper out of the lemonade collection, attatched it to a pink piece of card stock that was punched with the Fiskars upper crest border punch, glued both pieces to the kraft card added some white dots around the edges of the card and also from the woolie lady bug to the Hero Arts sentiment, lastly added some pink pearls to the top of the card.

So quick and easy to make. This seems to be one way that I am getting my stash of cards to grow, so will be handy to grab when I need one.

Hope you enjoy.

Have a great rest of the weekend, hope to swing by a little later.

Happy Saturday everyone! I do hope that the start of your weekend has been going good, we have had another warm day here today, but there is good news, our air conditioner has been fixed and even though it is hot outside at least it is cooler inside then the last few days without it. So I am very grateful.

Today’s card, I decided that it was time to move on away from the felties, even though I really wanted to do another one………LOL. I decided to make a small gift card that could be used on a present for Valentines Day.

I started with white card stock for the card base, stamped a little love heart tree from the Hero Arts adorable baby girl set in Memento Tuxedo black twice onto some scratch white card stock, coloured it with my copics. (Here is a photo of the copics that I used to colour the tree).

I then cut both trees out and mounted them both onto the white card, stamping a Hero Arts sentiment from the same adorable baby girl set at the bottom of the card and lastly added some red pearls underneath the sentiment to finish the card. (I have taken 2 photos of the card for you to see the dimension).

Just a little something different for Valentines Day.

This also gave me a chance to practice my technique with my copics, which I need so, so, so much more practice……….LOL.

Enjoy the card.

Hope to catch you all tomorrow. Have a great night.

Morning all, as my title says, overload with felties. I got on a roll with these little cards and loved them so much I decided that a series of cards would be a great thing.

Today’s little card, I used a feltie duck from Sassafras Lass, I cut a piece of October Afternoon, Farm Fresh paper adhering it to a piece of green card stock punched with Fiskars upper crest border punch, attaching it to the card that is kraft card stock, drawing some white stitching lines around the top of the card and from the little duck to the Hero Arts sentiment.

I hope you enjoy today’s card and that your Friday is a wonderful day, I know mine is because once I finish work, I have the weekend off, Yippie!!

Have a good one.

Evening everyone. I hope that you have all had a great day, another sweltering day here again without any air conditioner, although all is not as bad as it seems, we are able to fix it so that is a blessing. I should have air conditioning again this weekend.

Tonight’s card I decided to make another feltie card. I had to make a birthday card for a little girl for one of my friends at work, so I am hoping she likes this one or otherwise I will just make another card, as you do.

I used kraft card stock for card base, punched a strip of orange card stock with Fiskars scalloped sentiment border punch attached it to some October Afternoon, Farm Fresh paper then added it to the card base, used a white gel pen to add some white stitching lines around the top of the card and white stitching from the Sassafras Lass giraffe feltie to the Hero Arts sentiment, lastly I corner rounded the corners of the card with my corner chomper.

Very, very simple card and quick, which I needed seeing as it is so hot.

Enjoy your night everyone.

Afternoon all, WOW! Very hot day here today and you wouldn’t believe it our air conditioner died last night, so I am really hoping that Darryl can fix it tonight, because Roly and I have been sweltering in 38 degree weather today. Not liking it at all.

Just wanted to pop in with a quick card before heading off to work.

I have had little felties from Sassafras Lass for awhile and I just love them, so I decided to use the little elephant. I started with kraft cardstock as the base of the card, punched a small strip of blue cardstock with the fiskars upper crest border punch, then added a strip of October Afternoon Farm Fresh paper above that, glued both pieces to the kraft cardstock, added a white stitching line above both pieces of paper and cardstock, attatched the little feltie elephant, stamped a Hero Arts sentiment in the top corner and added some stitching lines from the elephants trunk to the sentiment to complete the card.

I thought he turned out quite sweet.

Hope you are all having a great day and just remember it is the middle of the week and not long to the weekend, YAY!
