Hi Everyone! So today I finally got my Silhouette Machine and it’s software loaded onto my new computer, had a go at it and I don’t know, nothing seemed to gel at all, really not much at all flowed well today, hoping that the weekend will improve in the way of crafting……well that is my whine for the day!

So I bring you a card that I played with after tea tonight and finally something came together, although not a great card but I thought that the fish was cute.

I started with kraft card stock cut it to size and folded in half, set aside. I then took a piece of white card stock and cut it slightly smaller then the card front, I took my foam blending tool and covered the entire white card stock with Ranger, Distress Ink, Tumbled Glass, I set this aside to dry. Whilst the card stock was drying I took some more white card stock and stamped the large fish from the Hero Arts, Oceans of Joy stamp set, I coloured the fish in with my Copics and cut the fish out. I took the piece of card stock that I had covered with distress ink and stamped some seaweed from the same stamp set with some Color Box Ink, Rainforest, Moss Green. I took the large fish again and stamped onto the distressed card stock and added the cut fish over the top with some foam dimensionals. I added some bubbles from the fish, coloured them in and put some Glossy Accents over the top. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the same stamp set and a googly eye to the fish, adhered the piece of card stock to the front of the kraft card with some foam dimensionals.

Enjoy the card and I will catch you all later!

Have a great night.

Hi Everyone! Thought that I would share a card that was a very quick and easy card to make using one of my new embossing folders from Sizzix.

I started with white card stock cut to size and folded in half, I ran the front of the card through my Cuttlebug, embossing the front of the card with Sizzix, Hello Friend embossing folder. Next I took some yellow card stock and used my Papertrey Ink, Polka Dot Basics 2 stamp set and stamped several rows of polka dots with some Colorbox Ink, Swell, Banana Custard. Once this was dry I punched a large flower out of the stamped card stock and using a piece of cream card stock I punched a smaller flower out, I placed a mini glue dot between the 2 flowers and adhered together. To finish the flower I adhered a red button for contrast on the centre of the flower. I then took my cream card stock and cut a large strip and a small strip of card stock, I stamped a sentiment from the Papertrey Ink, Signature Greetings stamp set with some Colorbox Ink, Chocolate & Blueberries, Charcoal onto the larger strip on card stock. I adhered both strips to the front of the card and lastly, I adhered the flower with a foam dimensional along with some added red pearls.

Here are some more views of the card.

Yellow is not usually a colour I reach for, so this was a nice change for me, a card I thought would cheer someones day.

Well I hope you enjoy what is left of your weekend, think of me having to go to work soon.

Have a great day and I will catch you all tomorrow.

Evening Everyone! How is your weekend going? I had to work all day today, so no crafting as yet, but I am hoping to venture into the craft room shortly, if I am not too tired after blogging..LOL.

Today’s card I played with more of my new crafting supplies, and made a card for a friends son. I hope that he likes it.

I started with kraft card stock cut to size and folded in half, on the top half on the card I stamped Hero Arts, Raindrop background stamp with Versamark Ink and heat set and set the card aside. I then took a piece of white card stock and stamped a monster and balloons from the Hero Arts, Monster Fun stamp set, I coloured each stamped image in with my Copics and cut the images out. I cut a strip of patterned paper from the October Afternoon, The Thrift Shop 8 x 8 paper pad and a piece of white card stock. On the white card stock I stamped a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Monster Fun stamp set, I then adhered the patterned paper to the front of the kraft card and also adhered the white card stock. I added foam dimensionals to the monster and to the balloons and placed onto the card. Lastly, I added some hand drawn strings to the balloons and also a googly eye to the monster to finish the card.

Here are some other views of the card.

This card turned out pretty sweet.

Enjoy your night and hope to see you back here again tomorrow.

Hello, I hope you are enjoying your Friday night, for me I have been crafting today, with some of my new goodies and also adjusting things on my computer, but naughty me, has not done much in the way of house work……LOL.

Before I plunge straight into today’s card, I just wanted to thank everyone who has left me a message or twittered me with their support on my first video. I must say that it was fun in someways and in others it was a little daunting, but hey you have to start somewhere. We will see how the next one goes. Just remember that you can view my videos, under this posting.

So I started with black card stock, cut to size and folded in half. I then took a white piece of card stock and stamped a high heel from the Hero Arts, High Heels stamp collection in the bottom left hand corner of the white card stock, I also stamped a sentiment from the same set in top right hand corner. I took my pink Copic, Spica pen and coloured the entire high heel in, giving it a very sparkly feel (unfortunately, you cannot quite see this in the photos). Once coloured in I added some hot pink rhinestones over the shoe for some added interest. I felt that after I had coloured the shoe in that it really needed something else, so I added 2 partial flourishes from the Hero Arts, Dot Flourish to 2 corners of the white card stock and added some pink Spica to the flourishes. Lastly, I cut a smaller piece of bright pink card stock and adhered the white card stock to this, then added some foam dimensionals under the pink card stock and placed it onto the black card.

Here is another view of the card.
