Hi there

Happy Sunday to you all, cold with bad weather headed this way, so we are all having a day inside, so that means a quiet day in the craft room, which I am looking forward to..

Today at MFT we are at day 3 for the August Release Countdown, I sure hope you are enjoying the sneak peeks and seeing the amazing creations from the design team, to see more head over to the Blog..

I am sharing the latest Pure Innocence today, called a Phone Call Away, what better way to say to someone you are thinking of them then creating a card with this cutie..

So I stamped her out and coloured in with Copics, die cutting her out and setting her aside..

I kept my layout pretty simple, by die cutting a speech bubble from the August release called Essential Speech Bubbles, stamping a sentiment from the same stamp set onto the bubble and adding it to the top of a trimmed piece of white card stock..

I added some pattern paper from the gorgeous paper pad, Party Patterns along with Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Pastels at the bottom of the card stock..

Added my little girl and off to the side of the little girl I used a negative die cut piece that I die cut the word Hugs from the Words for Friends into some Grout Gray card stock..

Completing the card by adding some enamel dots to the speech bubble..

She really is super adorable to colour…

Thanks for taking the time to pop in today..

Have a wonderful rest of the day!

Hugs

Hello

Hope you are all getting excited for this release, such a fun release with so many unique products..

So we are back with Day 4 for the Release Countdown for MFT and to view more inspiration just head over to the blog..

Today I share the fabulous Birdie Brown stamp set called Fab-BOO-Lous Friends, so super cute..

I took the images I wanted to use, stamped out and coloured with my Copics, die cutting with the matching dies..

Next, I took Jellybean Green, Orange Fizz and Grapesicle card stock, die cutting the smallest die in the Mod Square Stax, I added each of the Squares to the top of a trimmed white piece of card stock, slightly smaller then the card front and then went about adding my little ghostly images..

Deciding to add some more features to the images, I decided to stamp out some webs, spider and bats, adding the spider webs and bats around the images..

Next up was a sentiment that I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder to a piece of Black Licorice card stock, adding with foam tape just under the Mod Squares..

Completing the card by drawing a small black line down from the sentiment and adding my little spider..

I just loved how this card turned out, it was so much fun creating it..

I will be back with Day 3 of the release tomorrow..

Have a great day, I am off for more crafting..cold day here at the cottage, so time to rug up inside and keep warm..

Hugs

Hello

So it is that time again, where MFT starts the countdown to the next release of amazing products..

Today is Day 5 of the countdown and the design team are sharing some amazing work for you all, don’t forget to swing past the Blog to see all the inspiration..

I worked with a fun set called Flamazing and what a cute set, the set contains stamps for building images…

I kept mine pretty simple, stamping out each of the parts of the flamingo using Pink Lemonade, Tickled Pink, Chocolate Brown and Steel Grey…I know lining up stamps for building can be quite a challenge and I know that this has been shared from other people in tips on how to line up stamps so that they can be die cut right without chopping pieces of the stamped images off, there are 2 options, you can die cut the image out onto white card stock and then stamp or do the other option that I chose where I used my Misti tool and the die..

So in order to achieve this, you flip the die over so that it is cutting edge face down, then drop the required stamp into the groove, place the Misti door down to grab the stamp and start your stamping process…

It has taken me awhile to learn how to do this and obviously I am slow learner LOL, but sure glad I have found a way of not tearing my hair out..

So once I was finished stamping the flamingo, I die cut out and set aside to work on the rest of the card..

I took another piece of white card stock and die cut a smaller panel using the Inside and Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle, onto this rectangle I stamped a couple of sentiments from the same stamp set and foam mounted this to another piece of white card stock..

To complete my card I took the new dies called Fab Foliage and Ripe Raspberry and Pink Lemonade card stocks, running several times through the die cutting machine, adding these leaves to the base of the smallest white panel..

I look forward to being back here tomorrow for more inspiration with you all..

Have a great day!

Hugs

Hi there

Hope you have all had a wonderful day!

Tonight I am popping in to share the latest creation for MFT and the sketch challenge..

We are now currently sitting at 344 in the challenge and I just know you will love this weeks sketch..

To find out how to play along for a chance at winning and for more inspiration then head over HERE..

I chose to work with Sushi Date for my card this week, stamping out and colouring in the images that I wished to work with, then die cutting and setting aside..

I then took a white card stock panel and using the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges, I die cut one end off to match the sketch..

I then added my images to the panel along with a sentiment from the same stamp set and then added a piece of pattern paper from the Tiny Hearts Brights paper pad..

Adhering the whole panel to the card front and my card was complete..

I look forward to seeing your creations this week..

Have a great day or night!

Hugs

Hello there

Today I have something new and special from MFT called Hits and Highlights a new challenge from the design team to share new and creative ways to show different ways to use products..

Today’s post we feature Shaker Pouches, aren’t these super fun!

I have a Christmas card for you all..

I chose to die cut into my card using a Circle Stax die, adding my pouch in the back and adding in Clear Sequins as well as Confetti.

To seal up the back I die cut a larger circle and die cut Snowfall Vertical, adding onto the back of the pouch, over the top of this, I added another piece of white card stock to completely seal the whole area..

I then took Summer Splash ink and applied some to the top to add a sky and moved onto more die cutting..

Die cutting some mountains out of white and Grout Gray card stock, using the Snow-Capped Mountains, adding one either side of the pouch, whilst die cutting I took Sour Apple and Jellybean Green card stock and die cut some trees from the Chill Wishes set, adding these also either side of the pouch..

I then took one of the polar bears from the Polar Bear Pals set, stamped out and coloured with Copics, die cutting out and adding him to the centre where the pouch was sitting..

I completed this card by adding snowflakes die cut from Sno Cone card stock using the Stylish Snowflakes, adding a clear sequin to each of the centres and a sentiment that I stamped onto a banner die cut from the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips..

I hope you will pop on over to the blog and check out the rest of the teams work..

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs
