Hi there

How is your week going? I know it is such a trying time for all of the world right now and my hope is that this horrible time goes away as quickly as it has invaded us, hang in there everyone..

How about a little sunshine in your day and lets all play along this week in the Sketch Challenge at MFT, to see more inspiration and details on how you can enter just click HERE..

I chose to stick with one stamp set on my card but changing up the idea of the sketch using different images..

I chose to colour in some of the stamps from the Sunflower Sweetheart, die cutting out and adding to a white card base that I applied Blue Breeze ink to the centre of the card..

Completing the card by stamping a sentiment and tying a twine bow to the flowers..

Enjoy your crafting days, I will be back again tomorrow with yet another card..

Hugs

Well hello again, yet another Sunday and yet another post for Hello Sunday, I truly hope you are enjoying your Sunday, I know the news around the world is quite horrendous right now and I know here in Australia it is getting even more real and scary each and every day that passes, I pray that they find a cure for us soon, stay safe my friends..

Today, I hope I bring some sunshine into your Sunday with bringing you yet another 2 great designers out in the crafting world, you may or may not have heard of these wonderful Artists, but I urge you to follow them and leave some love to them either on their blog or Instagram accounts..

The first one, Barbara Foldzik, I have followed Barbara for awhile now and came across her through my work for MFT, she is so super talented, with the soft looks to her cards and great photography skills, she is one that I admire so much..

Barbara’s Instagram

The next is Lisa Tilson, another fabulous and creative lady out there, I had the true honour to work along side Lisa whilst doing a guest appearance at Clearly Besotted and she has the most amazing skills at colouring one to truly follow and gain some inspiration..

Lisa’s Blog, Instagram, You Tube

I hope you will find sometime to head over and peruse both Barbara and Lisa’s amazing creations..

I know as I said at the start of this post that things are a little confronting and scary right now and we all need to try and stay calm, keep safe and keep distance plus hygiene needs to be apparent..

To keep our minds off things and even stay calm, why not pull out all those stamps that you have wanted to colour up and join in Kathy Racoosin’s 30 Day Coloring Challenge, you still have time to sit and colour and if it isn’t every day then I think that is okay, just taking some time to sit and relax and shut the head down this is a perfect thing to do..

To find out what this challenge is all about please visit Kathy’s Instagram feed, this is the 15th Challenge and it truly is amazing..

Well that is a wrap for my Hello Sunday, I look forward to bringing you even more next Sunday..

Enjoy and stay safe!

Hugs

Hi there

I hope you are all having a great week and taking precautions with this current situation in the world, my hope is that everyone will be safe and that things return to normal soon..stay safe everyone!

So how about a little brightness for you day and I share a card..it is that time of the month when the team share creations for the Birthday Project, so why not pull those stamps out and join in the fun, to see more inspiration and details on how to enter just click HERE..

This month is all about Flowers and so I knew I wanted to do a little bit of water colouring..

Pulling out the paper and stamping the Floral Focus image onto the paper, embossing with white embossing powder and colouring with my Zig Markers..

I then took the Stitched Circle Stax and die cut a partial of the image..

I then trimmed a piece of Grapesicle card stock to be a smaller card front and die cut into this panel also..adding foam tape to the back and adding to a white card base..

Next, I adhered the flower panel inside the Grapesicle die cut and completed this card by stamping a sentiment from the Bitty Birthday Wishes, die cutting using Skinny Strips adding to the flower panel and added a few pearls..

I look forward to seeing all your creations..

Have a great crafty and safe day!

Hello everyone

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, I hope some crafting is happening or even just some relaxation..

So awhile back here on my blog when blogging was the big thing I would share a segment called Bits and Pieces, these were links to all craft related things, mainly cards around the internet, well I want to revamp and bring this back but in a different way..

My idea is to share links to different crafting related items, this could be links to people’s amazing crafting talents, to links to information to even other crafts, this will just be a place to grab your coffee or tea and relax perusing the internet for different and sometimes ideas and things you may have seen already but also some you may not have..

It’s all about sharing the love!

So welcome to my first Hello Sunday post!

My love for card making I don’t think will ever change, there are times when I just don’t want to make another card but then other times I cannot live without dabbling in some sort of card making and I am guessing that everyone seems to have this from time to time, but people and their talents inspire me so and I wanted to share a few here, hopefully they spark your mojo and please if you have some time pop on over to their blogs, leave some love or visit their IG page and do the same..

Disclaimer – some links may contain Affiliate Links..

Laura Bassen, her style, cleanliness and imagination is always something I aspire to be and is a constant source to go to when I am stuck mojo wise..

This card is so soft and pretty and yet the other card just makes me smile and I hope it does for you..

Be sure to go have a look at her Instagram account and You Tube Channel..

The second amazing creative person I wish to share here this Sunday is the talented Alberto Gava, I came across Alberto just in this last year and was totally blown away by his colouring skills, he is truly gifted and AMAZING artist and I hope you will pop over and check out what he creates..

Alberto’s Instagram Account

The last 2 people that I wish to share are 2 that are on IG and are super gifted people..

I had to pleasure to work alongside Nicky Meek when I was working at Pretty Pink Posh and her ability to create cards that have softness is so eye catching..these images that you see on both of her beautiful cards are from Hello Bluebird a company I am yet to get my hands on their stamps and dies and I long to do so…

Sara Zoppit was one that I came across on Pinterest and noticed how beautiful not only is her colouring but also her blending skills with distress inks, both of the cards that you see below are images used from Hello Bluebird..

Sara has created some beautiful cards so please go check her out also and maybe follow both of these aspiring ladies..

Lastly, in the card making arena who could not go past Debby Hughes her water colouring techniques always leave me drooling at the side of the mouth and one day I would like to grow up just like her..

Debby’s Instgram Account and You Tube Channel..

Now to share some of my favourite stamps of late that have been released, the first of the companies I am sharing today will be Clearly Besotted, not only do they create wonderful and cute products, but their customer service is truly outstanding and they are the most beautiful people in this industry, so please follow their blog, Instagram and You Tube..

I am going to leave you now with 2 companies with great sales, now there are a lot more out there, but I am not wanting inundate you with everything in one post, but I sure do hope you have seen some inspiration from these amazing artists and links that help you get crafty this weekend..

My Favorite Things is offering this fabulous offer:

Altenew is another company that is sharing a great deal..

I will be back again on Sunday with even more shares and next time something a little different in the crafting section..

Thanks for stopping by I will be back again really soon with some card sharing..

Hello

I hope you have enjoyed shopping the latest release from MFT..

Today we have more inspiration as well as lovely crafty friends joining us to share more creations from the March Release..

I chose to use the latest from Stacey Yacula called Sky High..

I kept my card very CAS to give you an idea that a card can be made really quick for that perfect gift..

I coloured in one of the images and die cut out..

I then masked off an area on my card to which I added some stenciling using the Clouds Stencil and Blue Breeze ink..

I added my image and stamped a sentiment down one side of the stenciled area and on the other side added some score lines..

To complete the card I added some pearls and the card was complete..

Thank you for all the lovely comments this month, you are truly wonderful people..

Enjoy the creations and I hope you have a great crafty day!

Hugs

Hi Again

Gosh we are now sitting at Day 2 of the March Release Countdown, are you all getting excited to purchase these products..

I know I have had a lot of fun creating with these products this month and I know the rest of the team have also, so be sure to pop on over to the blog to check out even more creations and products..

I have a fairly simple yet impact card..

Stamping out one of those cute fairies from the Flower Fairies, colouring with Copics and die cutting out..

I also die cut the Framed die out of white card stock and also the latest pattern paper called Spring Whimsy, the soft yellow was perfect for my little yellow fairy..

I added the frame and pattern paper to a white card and then added my fairy..

I completed this card by stamping a sentiment from white card stock and die cut using Skinny Strips, adding this to the top of the card and finishing touch was some pearls to add even more softness.

Thanks for swinging past here again and leaving your wonderful comments..

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs
