Hello

I sure hope you have popped over to MFT and ordered your kit for the month to play with..

I have one last card for you today using this kit..

I chose to colour up one of the dogs from the You Make My Tail Wag, die cutting him out and then proceeded to work on the rest of the card..

I took some Black Licorice card stock, trimmed it slightly smaller then the card front and stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder the Chevron Background stamp…die cutting the circle into the card stock for the maze itself to sit…

Whilst die cutting I die cut a Electric Red piece of card stock to form the ring to sit around the plastic shaker pouch..

I added the shaker pouch and maze with the ball and a dog bone to the centre and sealed up this section at the back, adding the red ring around the outside and then added my dog to the other side of the card..

Next was to add a stamped sentiment onto a strip of Smooth White card stock and trimming small strips of Electric Red card stock, adding these to both bottom and top of the card to complete the card..

I hope you will head over to the MFT blog to check out the rest of the teams creations..have fun with this kit!

Hugs

Hi there

Hope you are all having a great day and hope you are all enjoying the shares that the MFT design team are sharing with this month’s card kit called A-maze-zing…

Today, I kept my card pretty simple again, stamping out the maze onto some Cement Gray card stock and embossing with white embossing powder, die cutting it out and setting aside..

I then die cut a Star out of some pattern paper from the Dots & Stripes Confection, adding the Maze feature to the centre of this..

I then worked on the background, trimming a piece of white card stock and stamping the Lined Up Dots Background, embossing with white embossing powder, trimming off the base of this for a more decorative feature using the Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges, adding this to a white card base, then under this panel I trimmed some more Dots & Stripes Confection, pattern paper, adding a stamped sentiment to the base…

Next, was to add my star feature, finishing off the card, by stamping out the words start and finish to add to the maze and die cutting a Coral Crush heart to the centre..

Looking forward in sharing my last project with you all tomorrow…for now swing past the MFT blog to see the rest of the teams amazing creations..

Hugs

Hello there

Hope that you all enjoyed your Easter festivities, hard to believe that Easter has come and gone again for another year..

We have had a lovely few days off from work and I have even had some time to just craft and relax, which is always nice..

Darryl and I are about to hit the garden and clean up all those weeds and do some planting, so I am scheduling this post for today…

Today, is the start of the new card kit over at MFT and we start off with day 1 of sharing the interactive kit called A-maze-ing…such a fun kit to work with and I know that you guys are going to want to play with it too..

I wanted to make my card for today a nice and cheerful one, die cutting colourful hearts from the heart die within the kit, die cutting Razzle Berry, Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple and Sno Cone card stocks, setting these aside..

I then went about trimming down a piece of Smooth White card stock slightly smaller then the card front and took the maze stamp, inking up with Versamark and stamping and embossing 2 times onto the card…sticking with stamping and embossing, I also stamped this image onto a piece of Cement Gray card stock and die cut that piece out with the matching die..

I added the stamp that showed the way in the maze onto the white embossed mazes on the white card and adhered the Cement Gray version with foam tape into the middle of both of these…

I stamped a sentiment under the mazes and added my little row of hearts, including one to the centre of the Cement Gray maze and my card was complete..

Be sure to swing past the blog today to check out the rest of the teams creations..

I will be back tomorrow with more for you to view..

Hugs

Hi there

Hope you all enjoyed your day, we had a lovely day here, with Mum coming for lunch, loads of food to eat, just an all round good day..

So tonight, I am sitting here winding down from the days events and wanted to pop in and share a card that I created for Pretty Pink Posh..

Of course that being Easter weekend, I chose to create an Easter card with the Easter Friends stamp and die set, pairing it with the Scallop Frames and Stitched Borders 4..

Of course with any of my card making I stamp out the images I wish to use and colour in with Copics, die cutting out and setting aside..

I then took some white card stock and ran it through my die cutting machine 4 times die cutting the Scallop Frames die, adhering the out edge of the frames together to form dimension, I then adhered this to the white card base and die cut the Scallop Frames one last time this time die cutting some Watercolor Wash pattern paper, adding the inner part of this to the card base..

I then moved on to adding strips of more pattern paper, die cutting Stitched Border, to create scalloped hills, adding this across the card and trimming a piece of pink Tiny Check pattern paper under the green section..

I added my stamped images, stamped out a sentiment and finished off by adding a scattering of sequins..

Well I think I may just hit the craft room for a little more creating..enjoy the rest of your day..

Hi there

Hope you are all having a great day!!

Lots to do here at the cottage today before heading off to work, so I am popping in here really quickly to share my creation for the latest sketch at MFT, current sketch is number 328..

I kept mine pretty much to the sketch, stamping out sweet little images from the Happy Hedgehogs, coloured them in with Copics and die cut out..

I then worked on a little panel of Grout Gray Card stock, stamping one of the flower images from the stamp set and creating my own background by embossing in white..

Next I trimmed a piece of white card stock smaller then the card front, adding a strip of vellum across the card, then adding my Grout Gray panel along with my sweet little images..

Finishing off the card by adding a stamped sentiment that I stamped onto a banner from the Blueprints 21 and added all of this to a Cement Gray card base..

If you are wanting to participate this week or see loads more inspiration, just click HERE

Okay, off to go get these jobs done, have a fabulous day!!

Hugs

Hello

Yet another beautiful day here today, no rain to speak of so the nice days will continue I guess..

I sit here looking out the window and thinking the sun is so nice that it pretty much is time to head on out and take some of that in, but first things first and that means sharing my MFT April Release Replay project with you all..

I chose to showcase Springtime Critters, pairing it with Spring Scene Builder and Stitched Dome Stax..

I of course as I normally do when creating a card, I stamp the images that I wish to use, colour in with Copics and die cut out with the matching dies, setting aside to work on the rest of the card..

I trimmed a piece of white card stock slightly smaller then the card front, and taking Summer Splash ink, I blended a skyline…

Next I took some pattern paper from Watercolor Wash and Homespun Gingham, ran these through my die cutting machine with the grass from Spring Scene Builder and then created hills using the Stitched Dome Stax…I added these to the skyline along with my little critters that would stand on the hills..

I stamped a sentiment from the Springtime Critters under the grass section and finished my card off by adding a scattering of Clear and Lime Sorbet Sequins..

Be sure to swing past the MFT blog today to see many more fabulous creations, we hope that we have inspired you this month and I look forward to the next release..

Hugs
