Happy Dance!! We are halfway through the May Release Countdown..

Today is Day 3 and I have a cute little Pure Innocence girl to share with you, called Sweet Summertime..

I stamped her out and coloured her in with my Copics, die cutting her and setting her aside..

I then took the die Sweet and with white card stock, ran it through 4 times, adhering each layer together to form dimension, I then ran the shadow part of this die through Black Licorice card stock and adhered all of these together…

I layered some pattern papers from Party Patterns, Black and White Stripes and some Vellum..

Next, I added my little girl and the Sweet word…

Completing the card by adding a sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments, die cutting the sentiment using one of the dies from the Skinny Strips and adding a scattering of enamel dots..

Thanks for taking the time to pop in here today, for more inspiration just click HERE..

Hi there

So did you enjoy the start to the May Release Countdown, I sure hope you did, we have even more to feast your eyes on today..

Today, I am sharing a card created using the latest Birdie Brown set called, Bring Out the Sunshine..

I stamped out this adorable girl and coloured her with Copics, die cut her and set her aside..

I then took a piece of white card stock and added some clouds using the Mini Cloud Stencil and some Peach Bellini Ink..

I wanted a little ground section, so I took some masking paper and masked off an area at the base of the card and blended some Milk Chocolate Ink..

I added my little girl and embossed a sentiment onto some Black Licorice card stock, adding this to the side of the girl..

Realising the card needed just a bit of extra pop, I added some Tiny Check patterned paper to the base of the card..

To see loads more creations from the DT just head over HERE..

I will be back with day 3 tomorrow..

Have fun crafting or pre shopping!

It has started again, another fantastic Release Countdown to share with you all..

I start you off this countdown with some great new products, Stacey Yaccula’s new set called Friendly Foxes, the cutest set ever, also Greetings and Salutations and lastly Mini Staggered Circles Stencil..

I started off by creating my background, by taking a piece of white card stock, that I applied distress inks, Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans and Fossilised Amber, once I applied all the inks, I flicked with water to make the inks wick..

I applied some heat to dry and added Sweet Tooth Pigment ink through the Mini Staggered Circles Stencil, once again heat setting this..

I wanted extra texture so I applied more flicking but with Black Soot Distress Oxide..

Setting this piece aside and stamping out my little fox, that I coloured with Copics, die cutting and adding to the blended panel..

I finished off the card by adding sentiments to Black Licorice card stock, that I embossed with White Embossing Powder..

Be sure to swing on over to the blog to check out the rest of the teams amazing creations..

I will be back with Day 4 tomorrow..

Hi there

Hope you are having an amazing week..

At MFT today we start a new Sketch Challenge, to view how you can enter to win or for inspiration to get you started, pop on over HERE..

I worked with an older set today called Space Explorer, stamping out what images I wished to use and coloured with Copics..

I then worked on my background, by adding a outer space look, applying several different colours of distress inks and adding black over the top…flicking some white paint over the top to create stars and using a white gel pen to add even more stars..

I trimmed this piece down and added one section to the top of a Steel Grey card base and the other part to the bottom..

Completing by adding my images, then a sentiment embossed onto Black Licorice card stock and a scattering of Clear Sequins..

I hope you have a lot of fun playing along this week..

Today is the day we start a new Sketch Challenge, I hope you will all have some time to play along this week, be sure to head over HERE to view how to enter to win and for inspiration..

I wanted to use an older set called Magical Unicorns, stamping out the images I wished to use on the card and colouring with Copics and die cutting out..

Whilst still at the die cutting station, I took the Inside and Out Stitched Circles and die cut 3 different sized circles out of a piece of white card stock..

With the inner sections of the die cut, I took the Mini Cloud Stencil and Berrylicious, adding a cloud effect to each circle..

I placed foam tape onto the white panel and added it to a white card base, adhering the cloud panels inside the die cut sections..

Lastly, I added my images to each circle, adding a sentiment at the base of the card and a scattering of clear sequins..

Have fun creating with this weeks sketch..

Hi there

Have you all had a crafty day today? I have to admit, I had to clean up a massive pile on my desk before I could create again..

Speaking of creating how about we share the next sketch challenge, number 433, to see more inspiration and how to enter to win, head over HERE..

I chose to create a sympathy card, these are always the hardest as we know to create, so having them done when sadly we need one is always a good thing, I hope that you find some inspiration..

I die cut 4 times out of white card stock the Stitched Oval Scallop Frames, adhering each of them together, with one of the inserts, I took Wild Wisteria and Tickled Pink inks and applied over the Mini Cloud Stencil..

Adding all of these layers to a white card base…

Next, I took a dragonfly from the Fluttering Friends, coloured with Polychromos and adding this to the framed card stock..

I completed the card, by stamping some sentiments from the same stamp set and die cut these using the Slanted Sentiment Strips and some Clear Sequins..

Have fun creating!

  • Tinkerbeth

Your card is beautiful! I really struggle with sympathy cards, so I love seeing how others make them. Lovely take on the sketch!ReplyCancel
