Hello

Wanted to pop in here today on this very hot day here at the cottage and share a creation using Pretty Pink Posh products..

We all know that creating Sympathy cards are those cards that we tend to put on the back burner to create as we all dislike loosing loved ones in our lives, so creating these types of cards don’t come quite as easy as say making a birthday card..

But I wanted to share a card that using simple elements you can make a really quick card just using a few products and letting them shine..

I took the Easter Blessings stamp set, which most people relate to Easter but for me, I saw the flowers in the pot as an elegant feature to a card, so I stamped it out, embossed with white embossing powder and and coloured with my zig clean color real brush markers..I die cut the image out and set aside..

I took some stitched rectangle frame dies from Lawn Fawn and placed 2 together onto the card stock, running it through my die cutting machine with the embossing mat allowing the dies to impress but not cut all the way through the card stock..

I added my little flower image and stamped out a sentiment from the Thoughtful Greetings stamp set and the card was complete..

I hope you find some inspiration and that it helps you to make these hard types of cards..

Now before I leave and sign out for the day I wanted to share a little giveaway here on my blog, I have been wanting to do a larger one but that now sadly won’t happen until after Christmas and don’t worry I have not forgotten…but how about a little Pretty Pink Posh one..

I have a free stamp and die set called, Bee Friends, the one that you see below…

Comment for a chance at winning, 1 comment per person on this blog post, entries will close Tuesday 5th of December at 11pm Australian Eastern Standard Time and I will announce the winner after that date..

Have a great rest of the day and happy crafting to you all..

Hugs

Hello

It is that time of the week again and at MFT the new Sketch Challenge starts, current sketch number is now 360, we hope that you enjoy the sketches and inspiration from the team each week…for more information on how to enter just click HERE..

I chose to turn the sketch a little around this week, but following a lot of the design itself..

I took Razzle Berry, Lemon Drop, Tropical Teal, Grape Jelly and Black Soot Distress inks to create a space scene…

I trimmed 2 pieces down to represent the sketch and added this to a piece of Cement card stock that I die cut using the Stitched Mod Rectangle Stax..

I then took out the Space Explorer stamp set and stamped out the images that I wished to use, coloured them with Copics and die cut these out, adding them to the card front..

I then stamped and embossed with White Embossing powder onto Black Licorice card stock and sentiment from the same stamp set..

I look forward to seeing what you create this week..

Have a fun and crafting day!

Hello

Are you all ready for another Challenge at MFT?  Today we are up to the Creative Construction with Blueprints for the month and there is a chance if you decide to play along at winning, for more details on how to enter and for amazing inspiration from the team, then click HERE..

This month we are sharing creations of Holiday Tags using Tag Builder Blueprints…

I love creating with these types of Blueprints and what’s more I have some tags ready to go onto some presents, so I hope that you will find some inspiration in what I have created..

I chose to work with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 and 6..

Die cutting different tags from white and Sno Cone card stock, using Tag Builder Blueprints 5

The tag on the left that you see, I stamped a sentiment from the Hand Lettered Holiday, embossing with White Embossing Powder, die cutting a deer from the Deer Love, adding to the tag and completing this with some ribbon and twine..

The middle tag, I stamped and embossed onto Sno Con card stock, die cutting around the sentiment that was from the Snow Globe Sentiments with one of the sentiment tags from Tag Builder Blueprints 6, adding this to the top of the tag and adding a twine bow…

I then added a little scene die cutting elements from white card stock and Silver Sparkle card stock, using the dies from Scenic Snow Globe..

The last tag, I stamped and embossed in Silver Embossing Powder a sentiment from the Hand Lettered Holiday, adding twine and bow to the top also..

I cannot wait to see what you create, I had so much fun creating these..

Have a fabulous day!

Hugs

Hi There

Hope you have all had a great day, very busy day here and a productive day, but hoping for a little time in the craft room over the next couple of days to get more things sorted and more cards created..

We start the new Sketch Challenge over at MFT today and we are zooming along with challenges, that being said, we are now up to number 359…

I hope you will have some time to play along this week and have a chance at winning…for more details on how to enter the challenge and to see the rest of the teams amazing creations just head over HERE..

For me I wanted to play with the I Knead You stamp set, stamping out the cats and colouring with copics, then die cutting and setting aside…

I then stamped out the balls of yarn with Blu Raspberry, Lemon Drop and Coral Crush inks, die cutting these and setting these aside also..

Next, was to work on the square frame that was to match the sketch, so I took white card stock and die cut 4 times using the Single Stitch Line Rounded Square Frames, adhering each of the frames together and with 1 of the inner sections, I took Lemon Chiffon ink and added some ink to the bottom section of the card stock..

It was time to assemble the card by adding my frame and inner section, lifting the frame slightly to have one of the cats look as though he was trying to get into the same section as the other cat, that had been playing with the yarn and fell asleep..

Lastly, I added a sentiment that I stamped and embossed onto Black Licorice card stock, sentiment from the Cool Cat, die cutting around the sentiment with the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips..

I cannot wait to see what you have all created this week..

Have a fabulous day!

Hello

It is another Release Replay over at MFT today, sharing more inspiration using the November release…I hope you are all having fun now that you have received your goodies…

Today I wanted to use the Pure Innocence girl that I never got a chance to play with this month, certainly very Christmassy to which I love..

So I took Filled with Joy girl and stamped her out, coloured her in with Copics, my go to colouring medium, die cut her out and then thought, I wanted some friends to join her, so I stamped out the little kitten and puppy from the New Best Friends stamp set and did the same as the girl..

I then took some white card stock and the Layered Snowflakes dies, die cutting 5 of these to add to my card..

So next was to take a trimmed piece of white card stock and at the top of the card stock, I blended some Blue Yonder ink to act as a skyline, adding my snowflakes and some white gel pen dots to form more snow falling..

I then added my little images and felt that they needed a little grounding so taking some Grout Gray card stock I die cut an Oval Shadow, adding just under the images..

I completed the card by adding a stamped sentiment from the Snow Globe Sentiments..

I hope you enjoy seeing more inspiration from the Design Team today, to check more of their creations out just head over HERE..

Have a wonderful day, I will be back tomorrow with more :)

Hello

Time for another color challenge at MFT, we are now creating with number 81, to see more inspiration to help you join in the challenge and for details on how you can enter just head over HERE..

For my card, I created a little sunset desert scene card..

Taking the Single Stitched Rectangle Frames and ran it through the die cutting machine several times, adhering the outer frames together..

With the inner part of the die cut, I took one piece and adding ink blending with Lemon Drop, Orange Fizz and Grape Jelly, blending until I was happy with the look..

I stamped a sentiment onto white card stock and die cut around the sentiment using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips..

Moving onto the image, I chose to stamp out the horse from the Critter Clan, colouring with Copics and die cutting out..

I then took some Kraft card stock and around the centre of this card stock, I added some twine..

Next was the frame and inked panel, along with the horse and sentiment..

Looking at the card, I realised it was missing something, so I took Black Licorice card stock and stamped and embossed in White Embossing Powder the cactus from the same stamp set, adding this to the other side of the horse..

Looking forward to seeing what you all create with this Color Challenge..

Have fun!

Hugs
