Hello everyone

Hope you are all having a lovely week, we have had a bit of a tiresome weekend I must say with sadly Darryl having to be admitted to hospital, but pleased to say he is home and glad to be home now..

Enough of the digression, how about onto the sketch challenge for the week, be sure to swing past the blog to see the inspiration from the DT and to find out details on how to enter this weeks challenge for a chance at winning..

I chose to pull out a much older set called Cool Cat, colouring the images I required to put this card together..

I then took some Steel Grey card stock and trimmed to size, matching the sketch, I added some embossing to 2 of the panels, one with footprints matching the cats and the other a sentiment that I embossed with white embossing powder..

I adhered all the panels to a trimmed white card base, then added my coloured images and completed the card by add a scattering of enamel hearts to complete..

Have a great time this week creating for the sketch, I will be back to share the start of the next release with you soon..

Hi there

Gosh it has been a busy week here on the little old blog, I sure do hope you have had some time to be a little crafty..

If not I hope that maybe joining the current Color Challenge at MFT will inspire you..

To find out how you can enter to win and for loads of inspiration, just head over HERE..

So with these colours this challenge I kept my card very simple by stamping and image from the Bubble Over with Joy, die cutting and setting aside..

I then took a trimmed piece of white card stock that I masked off the bottom section and took Wild Wisteria Ink and applied to one side of the card stock..

Once I was happy with the look, I added droplets of water and then stamped bubbles using the Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink..

Next, I took a sentiment from the stamp set and embossed with white embossing powder on Grout Gray card stock, backing some Steel Grey to the back of this..

I added my sentiment and image and completed the card by add a scattering of sequins..

I hope you have fun playing along..

Have a lovely crafty day!

It is Wednesday and we all know what that means at MFT, the new Sketch Challenge has started for the week, loads of inspiration over HERE and details on how you can enter for a chance to win..

I chose to use the stamp set Up in the Air, stamping out the images and colouring with Copics, die cutting and setting aside..

I then took the Mini Cloud Stencil and some Berrylicious Ink, applying just a small portion to a white card base..

I added a strip of Tiny Hearts Pastel pattern paper to one side of the card and added my image..

I completed this card by stamping a sentiment onto white card stock and die cutting using the Stitched Sentiment strips, adding this below the balloon..

Have fun playing along this week..

Hello again

Gosh what an awful week of weather we are having in actual fact we have been on and off, must say more on then off of well over the 40 degree weather, it is incredibly draining and I am longing for Winter more then ever this year and a lot of much needed rain…

Okay, I have complained enough once again, so how about we get on with the Release Day of the February Card Kit…

I have been reading your comments both here and over at the Blog and I am thrilled to hear you all love this kit, I am sure it will sell out quickly so be sure to grab yours before they do..

I have one last card for today as inspiration..

Taking some Gravel Gray card stock, along with Roses all Over Background stamp, I stamped onto the card stock and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder..

Once it was heat set, I took the Double the Love die and ran it through the die cutting machine..I set this aside to work on the rest of the card..

I trimmed a piece of white card stock down and using the Lots of Hearts Stencil I added some soft tones of Red Hot and Ripe Raspberry Inks..

I added the word love and completed this simple card by stamping another sentiment from Sweet Celebrations, die cutting around the sentiment using the banners from Hearts in a Row Vertical, adding this just under the word love..

I sure do hope you have enjoyed this months kit and really hope you get your hands on one too, I cannot wait to see what you all create with it..

Thank you so much for all the beautiful comments..

Have a fantastic crafty day!

Welcome back to day 2 of the February Card Kit shares…

Today I share a card that has the inlay technique but with dimension..

I started out by adding card stock Gravel Gray, Lavender Fields and Wild Wisteria to a piece of typing paper, making sure the just cut strips, now of course Lavender Fields is not amongst the yummy card stock line up in the kit but I felt that these colours worked really well together..

Once they were adhered, I stamped with Versamark Ink the Beautiful Bloom a couple of times over the card stock, giving the tone on tone look..

I then took the Double the Love die and rand it through the die cutting machine, keeping all parts of the die cutting..

I adhered the negative piece to a card base with foam tape to give dimension and then adhered the positive straight to the base of the card, giving the inlay look..

Next, I stamped a sentiment under this piece from the Sweet Celebrations stamp set and added a Wild Wisteria heart to the centre, die cutting the heart from the Tweethearts..

I completed the card by adding some twine..

I felt I wanted more of a masculine look to this card with a feminine twist hence the flower stamping on the card stock..

Be sure to swing past the blog to see the rest of the teams amazing creation and I will be back with reveal day tomorrow..

Have a fantastic day!

Hi there

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend..we had a quiet one here at the cottage and it was nice as it was just slightly cooler and you actually felt like doing something, but we were just too tired LOL..

So today at MFT we are sharing the monthly card kit sneaks with you all, so I start you out with day 1 of the card kit..

I decided to create a square card and let me say that this has been quite sometime that I have created a large square card..

With trimming the white card stock to be square, I then took the Heart Trio Shaker Window die and die cut into the panel 3 times to create a pattern background..

To another piece of white card stock I added blending of Red Hot, Ripe Raspberry and Cotton Candy, adhering the heart panel to this with foam tape to give dimension..

I then took some scrap white card stock and using my gold embossing powder I added this to the white card stock, once embossed, I took the Double the Love die and ran it through the die cutting machine..

Adding the word love to the front of the card in the middle section of hearts..

I added another sentiment to Gravel Gray card stock using the sentiment from Sweet Celebrations and die cutting the sentiment using the Hearts in a Row Vertical..

Completing this card by adding some Clear Sequins..

Don’t forget to swing past the blog to see all the amazing creations from the team..

I will be back again tomorrow with Day 2..
