Hi there

Back again with the MFT Vault and there is so many goodies to choose from again this month..

I am sharing the first day of the Vault and using the Game Controller and Level Up items..

Die cutting all the pieces for the Game Controller out of Black Licorice, Cement Gray, Sour Apple, After Midnight, Electric Red and Orange Zest Card Stocks..

Once the pieces were all added I added some glossy accents to the control pieces for extra shine..

I then took a sentiment from the Level Up stamp set and embossed it onto some Black Licorice card stock..

Adding both the Game Controller and Sentiment to a Kraft card base that I had die cut a panel using the All the Stars Cover up..

Finishing off with some black string to look like the cord attachment to the game controller..

Be sure to head to the blog to see more amazing Vault items and DT projects..

Back tomorrow with Day 2 of the Vault inspiration..

Hi there

Gosh feels like ages since I last spoke to you all here and for that matter had a chance to craft, been a busy couple of weeks here, just dealing with some medical stuff, work and general life, but I have to say it was fun to sit and craft and I am hoping to be able to do even more tomorrow before heading back to work..

Speaking of crafting how about joining in the fun and creating a Birthday Project, the MFT team are creating and sharing cards based around our pets, because they are apart of our family, so what better way then creating a birthday card for another pet loving person that is your life..

To check out all the details on how you can enter and for more inspiration head on over HERE!

I pulled out a set that I have never used and it was super fun to colour these little doggies using my Polychromos..

The set that I used was called Lucky Dog, a fun set from the Birdie Brown collection..

I took some white card stock that I blended Cement Gray over the English Brick Stencil, then die cut the panel using the Blueprints 29..

Adding this to a white card base, using foam tape to add dimension..

Lastly, I added my images, stamping some little footprints and adding a sentiment that I embossed onto some Electric Red card stock..

I cannot wait to see what you all create..

Have a fabulous day!

Hi there

Time for another sketch challenge, I sure do hope you will play along this week, these sketches are a great way to get your mojo going again and I hope I inspire you as well as the rest of the team, to see more and learn how you can enter for a chance at winning, just head over HERE..

I pulled out an old set from Birdie Brown collection called Adorable Elephants and chose to colour in one of the elephants and balloon, adding white gel pen to the balloon..

I then grabbed a piece of Watercolor Wash pattern paper and used the Inside and Out Stitched Circle Stax, die cutting into one side of the paper, adding this to a white card base then adding some Cement Gray strips either sides of the paper..

I then added my little elephant and balloon and completed this card by stamping a sentiment from the Hello, Little One onto white card stock, die cutting around the stamped sentiment with Skinny Strips, adding this under the little elephant..

Have a great crafty day my friends!

The day is finally here, the day to purchase all those wonderful September products..

I am here today to bring you one last inspiration as well as the team over at the blog and of course we are celebrating the release by asking a few crafty friends to join in the fun..

I chose to create with the latest Stacey Yacula stamp set called Piles of Fun..

I stamped out the images I wished to use and coloured with Copics, die cutting and setting aside..

Whilst at the die cutting station, I took some white card stock and ran it through the die cutting machine, die cutting the Stitched Rectangle Frames, adding this to another white card base…the inner section that had the stitching I added with foam tape and with the inner section of this I added inks Poppy and Lemon chiffon, adhering when happy with the blending..

I then placed my images inside the frame and completed the card by stamping a sentiment and die cutting with Skinny Strips, adding this just under the images..

Thanks for swinging past all week, I cannot wait to see what you all create..

Have a great day!

Hi there

YAY!! Final day of the countdown is here at MFT, tomorrow you will be able to purchase all the fun goods for September..

I have another card for you today and there is much more over on the blog so be sure to swing past..

I wanted a really CAS card today, letting the background and sentiments shine..

So using the All the Stars Cover Up die, die cutting a panel of white card stock, then adding the panel to more white card stock, with the stars that fall out, I added these back into their spaces with foam tape to give dimension..

I moved onto the sentiments, to which I stamped and embossed onto Limelight, Summer Splash and Wild Wisteria card stocks, using sentiments from the Bitty Thanks and Gratitude set, die cutting each of the sentiments using the Skinny Strips die..

I added my sentiments to the front of the card and finished this card by adding a bit of sparkle using some Sequins..

Thanks for swinging past today and all through the week, I will be back tomorrow with MFT and Friends..

Have a wonderful day!

  • Kristen

Leaving the stars white and using color for your sentiments really makes the sentiments pop! Nice jobReplyCancel

Hi there

Have you all had a wonderful weekend, hope with lots of crafty time..

Speaking of crafty time, have you started writing out your lists for the latest release coming from MFT? There are so many goodies and I cannot wait to share Day 2 with you all, don’t forget to pass by the Blog to check out what the rest of the team have created for you all..

I took another of the Birdie Brown stamps called Favorite Teacher, stamping out the teacher and colouring in with Copics, die cutting out and setting aside..

I then took some white card stock and ran it through the die cutting machine die cutting letters ABC out of the Impact Alphabet..

I then took a piece of Black Licorice card stock and using the symbols from the Favorite Teacher and Lessons in Love, I stamped and embossed with White Embossing Powder, trimming down the piece and adding to a white panel along with pattern paper from the Watercolor Wash..

I then added my teacher and finished the card by stamping and embossing a sentiment onto some After Midnight card stock to which I then die cut using a flag die from the Blueprints 31, adding this above the teacher..

Have fun checking out even more new product and inspiration today..
