Hi there

YAY! The day is here, card kit release day! Flowers in Bloom!

I hope you have enjoyed viewing what the DT have created using this yummy kit…to view even more head HERE..

I have one last card for you and today I chose to create using some water colouring and pulling out my Mijello Water Colour set, now I am no Debby Hughes but it has been lovely to create with water colour and I can see why she loves to water colour…

So with more practice ahead, it was time to stamp out the flower image and colour..going for browns, orange and yellow tones, flicking some black over the top..

Once I was happy with the image I took the Circle Stax die and die cut a circle out..

Trimming a piece of Kraft card stock and tearing one side of the panel, adding this to a white card base, adding a piece of Black Licorice card stock to this and the water colour panel..

Finishing off the card by adding a sentiment from the Essential Sentiment set, that I embossed with white embossing powder and die cut using the Skinny Strips..

Enjoy viewing all the creations and have fun shopping..

Hugs

Hello again

Back with day 2 of the countdown to the card kit, I sure do hope you like what you have seen so far, for more inspiration just head over HERE..

Thank you too you all for passing by my blog and leaving beautiful comments, I truly appreciate each and everyone of you that takes that bit of time in your day to post some kindness..

So without further ado, here is my Day 2 card..

I stamped out the flowers onto white card stock and coloured with Copics..

I then took the stamp again and with a trimmed down piece of Vellum, I embossed the image with White Embossing Powder, along with a sentiment at the top of the Vellum..

I added my coloured image to a Steel Grey base and layered the Vellum over the top of the coloured image, this not only toned downs the colour but gives a layered effect..

I completed the card by adding a scattering of sequins..

I will be back tomorrow for one last card share..

Have a fabulous day!

Well hello

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend…

I did a little bit of crafting over the weekend and some of that was to create with the latest card kit from MFT, called Flowers in Bloom…which I just know you are going to love…

We start you out with day 1 of the countdown so be sure to head to the blog to see more from the DT..

I chose to keep my card pretty much monochromatic with the image..

Stamping the flower onto some Coral Crush card stock and embossing with white embossing powder, die cutting around this…

I then took more Coral Crush card stock and running it through the die cutting machine several times to produce the frame using the Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames, adhering each layer together to for dimension..

Adding this to a white card base…

I then took my Prismacolor White Pencil and adding some shading to each of the flowers to highlight..

I added my flower inside the frame and took the stamp Thanks from the stamp set, embossing this onto some Vellum that I then trimmed and added inside the frame at the base..

I hope you will like the next couple of days sharing this kit..

Have a great day!

Hugs

Hi there

Hope you are all having a great week..

Busy busy around here, but still have a little time to jump into the craft room to play..

I have a card share tonight and it is the latest Birthday Project, so if you would love to join in the fun, just click over HERE at the details on how you can play..

This month we are sharing cards created with a Peek-a-boo theme..

I chose to die cut a white panel using the Square Peek-a-boo Window die..adding foam tape to the back for dimension…

To the card front I added a piece of Tiny Check Pattern paper and then the die cut panel..

I moved onto the image that I stamped from the Tweet Friends stamp set, colouring with my Polychromos..

Once I was happy with the colouring, I die cut and added into the die cut panel on the card front..

I completed this card by adding a sentiment and some musical notes..

Have fun playing along this week and checking out all the amazing creations from the DT..

Hi there

Gosh we are up to yet another Sketch Challenge, this weeks is number 441..

Be sure to head over to the blog to check out how you can play along with the design team this week and have a chance at winning..

I chose to pull out my Polychromo Pencils and stamped out the little bear from the Beary Special Birthday, die cutting once coloured and setting aside..

I then took some pattern paper from the Party Patterns paper pad, trimming a piece down and adding to a white card base..

I then trimmed a smaller piece to be placed on top of this, but this time a piece of Lemon Chiffon, adding some stenciling onto this piece using the Star Celebration stencil and Lemon Drop ink..

I layered this to the pattern paper and then my little bear..

I completed the card by adding a sentiment to a piece of Black Licorice card stock that I then die cut using the Skinny Strips and adding some clear sequins..

Have fun creating and playing along this week..

Hello

Welcome back, I trust you have all had fun shopping the latest release..

I have a new card for you today, it starts the new Sketch Challenge for the week, currently sitting at number 440..

Pop on over HERE to see how you can play along for a chance at winning..

Now don’t dislike me, but I am sharing a Christmas card, I know I can hear you all saying way too early, but I figured I really need to send some out this year and so jumping a little ahead of time to get some created..

I chose to use Happy Pawlidays, stamping out the little dog with Christmas lights around him, colouring with Copics and die cutting..

I then took a white panel and using the Basic Shapes Circle Stencil, I added 3 circles with a light dusting of Berrylicious ink…

I added my little dog to one and in the other 2 I die cut 2 snowflakes from the Stylish Snowflakes out of Sno Cone card stock..

Completing the card by adding a stamped sentiment to a piece of white card stock, backing this with pattern paper from the Party Patterns and some sequins onto the snowflakes..

Have fun playing along this week..

Hugs
