Hi there

Happy Easter to you all, I hope you enjoy your day filled with family and friends, if you are traveling please be safe and make sure to eat heaps of chocolate :)

Today at MFT we are halfway through the April Release Countdown..

I have a card that is kinda out of my comfort zone in regards to colour combos LOL..

I chose to use the new Pinata die and pair it with the new Fiesta die..

I die cut the Pinata out of Cornflower card stock, adding the fringe layers, I set aside and worked on the rest of the card..

I die cut a circle and added Pineapple, Orange Zest and Electric Red inks, flicked some water over the top to make the ink wick..

Next, I die cut the word Fiesta out of some Black Licorice card stock and added some foam tape to the the back for dimension..

Realising I needed another punch of colour, I chose to trim down a piece of Ripe Raspberry and some Gold Sparkle, adding this to a trimmed white card piece, along with the circle feature, Pinata and Fiesta word die..

I finished off my card by stamping along the base of the Ripe Raspberry card stock, using a sentiment from the Llama Love stamp set…

Be sure to swing on by to the Blog to check out the teams fab creations..

I will be back tomorrow with day 2..

Hugs

Hi there

Welcome back to day 4 of the MFT April Release Countdown..

I am bringing you 1 of 3 sets from Birdie Brown Collection this month and this sweet little fellow is called Puddle Jumper, so cute and you will love the others that she has designed for us all to play with this month too..

I stamped my little puddle jumper out, coloured in the hair, skin, gumboots, shirt and pants in with Copics and with the rain coat and umbrella I chose to paper piece using some papers from the Birthday Blowout and Tiny Check..

Next, was the background to the card, I die cut several pieces of white card stock using the Single Stitch Line Rectangle, adhering the frames together and using one of the inner sections of the die cut, I took the Mini Raindrops stencil along with some Texture Paste, covering the whole card stock, setting aside to dry..

Onto a piece of trimmed white card stock I took the Mini Cloud Stencil adding clouds to the card stock by using the Cement Gray ink, once I was happy with the blending I added this to a white card base..

To assemble the card, I added the frame, stenciled paste card stock and my little puddle jumper..

I finished the card by stamping a sentiment onto Black Licorice card stock and embossing with white embossing powder..

There is more inspiration over on the blog from the team, be sure to pass on by..

Hugs

Hello

Happy Good Friday to you all, well at least here in Australia it is, I really hope that you have a lovely day with family and friends..

I am here today to bring you the MFT April Release Countdown..we start out with day 5 of the countdown and boy are you going to love this release..

I chose to use one of the fabulous new products, which is beautiful Felt, I am so excited to see Felt take apart of the MFT store as it is just beautiful to work with..

To start the creation of my card I took the Bold Blossoms dies and die cut Peach Bellini, Pink Lemonade, Sno Cone, Sweet Tooth, Gravel Gray and Limelight felt, adhering the flowers and leaves together..

I then took Cement Gray and white  card stock and ran it through my die cutting machine using the latest Cover-Up plate called Horizontal – Collage..

With the Cement Gray card stock I added foam tape to the frame itself and added this to a white card base, the white I used the stitched areas and adhered those straight down to the card base..

I added a sentiment from the Aim for the Clouds stamp set then went about adding my flowers..

Finished off the card by adding a scattering of sequins..

Be sure to swing past the blog to see what the amazing DT have created..

Have a wonderful day, I will be back tomorrow to you more..

Hello

That time of the week again and being Wednesday at MFT that means a new Sketch Challenge has started, I hope you will join in the fun this week, more information and inspiration over HERE

I chose to use one of the little pigs from Hog Heaven that I had coloured up with my Polychromos Pencils about a week ago, die cutting out and setting aside..

I then trimmed down a piece of white card stock slightly smaller then the card front and towards the top of this piece I die cut the Peek-a-Boo Rectangle Window, adding foam tape to the back for dimension and adhering onto a piece of trimmed pattern paper from the Party Patterns, adding to a white card base..

I added my little piggie holding the cupcake to the rectangle and finished off the card by adding sentiments that I embossed onto Black Licorice card stock from the Yay for You stamp set, die cutting around these using the Hearts in a Row – Vertical..

Have fun creating and remember if you have a chance to play along you are in for a chance at winning a voucher to spend in store..

Have a wonderful rest of the day!

Hugs

Hello

I am back today to share a fun project with you all, it is that time of the month for Hits and Highlights and the team are sharing projects using Pastel Papers..

I love pastel colours so I knew I would love this challenge..

I started out by stamping out the girl from the Pure Innocence, Spring Friends stamp set, coloured her in with Copics and with her shirt I paper pieced using the Homespun Gingham Paper…I fussy cut her out and set her aside..

I then blended some Sour Apple ink onto white card stock, I then die cut into that panel using Peek-a-Boo Circle, using more white card stock, I trimmed down a panel slightly smaller then a card front, die cutting once again with the Peek-a-Boo Circle, adding this panel to the card base with foam tape and the negative Sour Apple gluing to the card base itself..

I then took more pastel paper from the Watercolor Wash and die cut some clouds using Puffy Clouds dies, adding this to the circle feature..

Next, was to add my little girl and some flowers that were from the Sow Much Cuteness stamp set..

I finished off the card by stamping a sentiment onto more white card stock from the Beautiful Day, die cutting around the sentiment using the Stitched Sentiment Strips and adding a little birdie from the Jungle Gym stamp set..

I hope you will take some time to head to the blog today to see the amazing creations from the DT..

Have a wonderful day, I will be back tomorrow with more..

Hugs
