Hello

Back today with the last day of the May Release Countdown for MFT, I really hope you have been enjoying what you see..

Today is day 1 and I have a cute little bunny card to share with you..

I firstly, took the image I wanted to use from the Sweet Somebunny and coloured in with Copics, die cutting out and setting aside..

Next, I took white card stock and die cut the Happy Birthday Circle Frame several times, adhering each of the layers together to form dimension..

Whilst still at the die cutting station, I took pattern paper from the Party Patterns paper pad, die cutting one of the solid balloons from the Balloon Alphabet..

To the card layer itself, I took some masking paper and die cut a circle into the paper, added the mask to the card and taking the Mini Cloud Stencil along with some Pink Lemonade ink, I applied over the mask..

I added my Happy Birthday Circle Frame, along with my bunny and balloon..

Completing the card by adding a stamp sentiment to the base of the card..

Be sure to swing past the blog to see the rest of the amazing creations..

I will be back with Reveal Day tomorrow..

Hugs

Hello

I am back again with Day 2 of the May Release Countdown for MFT, I hope you are all starting to get your wish lists going and inspiration for crafting up this release, I for sure have had a fun time creating, I wish I could create more today, but sadly work takes place again today, but enjoy this post as it goes live whilst I work :)

I worked with the new set called Safari Party along with the word die called Party..

I firstly took the stamps out that I wished to use on the card, coloured in with Copics and die cut out..

I then took the word Party and die cut several layers, adhering each of the together to give dimension…

Next, I trimmed a piece of pattern paper from the Party Patterns paper pad and added this to the card front, I then die cut a piece of white card stock using the A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax 1 and added this panel to the centre of the pattern paper..

I adhered my word Party along with the animals and completed this card by adding a stamped sentiment onto Black Licorice card stock, that I embossed with white embossing powder and a scattering of Clear Sequins..

I will be back again tomorrow with the final day of the release countdown, be sure to check out the Team’s amazing creations yet again..

Hugs

Hello

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend, sadly I am working, but hoping after work I might pop into the craft room to enjoy a little bit of crafting..

Speaking of crafting, I trust you are really enjoying seeing everyone’s creations from the May Release Countdown from MFT, be sure to head over HERE to view even more today, with the halfway of the countdown..

I chose to use the Pure Innocence set called Love you a Bunch…

Of course we all know I love to paper piece these sweet gals, so I firstly coloured in her hair, skin and shoes, then paper pieced her dress with pattern paper from the Sweet Celebration paper pad, finishing off by colouring the flowers she was holding..

I then worked on the background, by trimming a piece of white card stock and adding blending to one section so that each colour would overlap to bring in another colour, Lemon Drop, Berrylicious and Ripe Raspberry were the colours of inks chosen..

I stamped a sentiment off to one side and added my little girl, along with a strip of black and white paper from the Black and White Stripes paper pad along the base of the card stock..

I realised that the card needed just a little addition, so taking Ripe Raspberry card stock and Stitched Heart Grid, I added some hearts in a row, under the sentiment to complete the card..

Enjoy the rest of your day!

See you all again tomorrow..

Hugs

  • Louise Wagner

    So cute!!! Love it!ReplyCancel

  • Pamela Schultz

I love that you paper pieced the dress. It’s a technique I use often because I don’t like to color. The soft colors you used on the background make this card very pleasing to the eye. Great job!ReplyCancel

  • Debbie Nelson

    Love her dress….adorable card!ReplyCancel

  • This is so CUTE! I love the soft colors in the background!ReplyCancel

  • Anne Sturgeon

She is so precious Joy. Your coloring is so good and I love the sweet pink hearts. Nicely done.ReplyCancel

  • Amante del Papel

so beautiful card, I love your background!ReplyCancel

  • Linda Slattery

This is certainly an adorable card. MFT gave the perfect name to these characters. I have the stamp, die, and the b&w paper pack on order, so can’t wait to work with everything when it arrives. I noticed that you said you colored the skin, flowers, hair and shoes with Copic markers. I for one would love to know the marker numbers you used for the skin tones. Thank you so much.ReplyCancel

  • I love the colors you combined for the background in this Joy! Pinned to my Cards to Case. Well done.ReplyCancel

  • Tara Prince

    So super adorable!!ReplyCancel

Hi there

Hope you enjoyed viewing day 5 of the May Release Countdown for MFT, we have more installed for you today so be sure to hop on over to the blog for more inspiration from the DT..

I am back with the latest from Birdie Brown and Torico has certainly created another amazing set to work with called Little Buddies..

I stamped out the image that I wanted to use and coloured with Copics, die cutting and setting aside..

I then die cut a Pierced Heart out of Black Licorice card stock and within the heart I die cut into one corner using a paw print from the Paw Prints, backing a piece of Electric Red card stock to the back..

Still at the die cutting machine, I die cut two circles using the Inside and Out Stitched Circles, one with white card stock and the other with Gumdrop Green, with the Gumdrop Green, I took the Grassy Fields die and die cut a piece at the base of the circle..

With the white circle, I took the Mini Cloud Stencil and applied Berrylicious ink over the top to form the background to my project, adding the grassy panel to the base along with my little boy and heart..

Next, I took a piece of trimmed white card stock and inking up the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots Background stamp with Cement Gray ink, I covered this panel, giving my own pattern paper effect..

I added the circle feature to the centre and completed the card by adding a sentiment..

I look forward to seeing you all again for Day 3 and halfway through the Countdown..

Have a fantastic day!

Hugs

Hello

Gosh I cannot believe it is May already, how the time is flying by once again this year..

Being May, it is that time of the month again for the Release Countdown at MFT..

Today, I start you out with a fun set called Martini Time, so many options with this along with other matching products to make some fun creations, be sure to check out the Blog for more creations from the DT…

I took the Martini stamp and stamped out onto some Black Licorice card stock, embossing with White Embossing powder, die cutting out and setting aside…

I then took a piece of white card stock and ran it through the die cutting machine, die cutting a rectangle panel using the A2 Rectangle Stax..

Adding circles to form like bubbles onto the panel by using the Basic Shapes – Circle Stencil and Berrylicious, Lemon Chiffon. Orange Fizz, Pink Lemonade and Wild Wisteria Inks..

Once I was happy with the blending I added my Martini Glass and finished the card by adding a sentiment from the Spirited Sentiments and a scattering of Clear Sequins…

Thanks for swinging past today to check out my creation, I will be back tomorrow with Day 4..

Have a fabulous day!

Hugs
