Hi there

Back again with the latest sketch challenge for MFT, I hope you will find some time to create and join in the fun, seeing as most of us are in lock down, this is the perfect opportunity to have some fun and pull out those stamps and dies and create..

Be sure to head to the blog to check out loads of inspiration from the team and also details on how you can enter for a chance at winning..

I chose to die cut a window out of a panel of white card stock, using the Tall Snow Globe die..

I trimmed a piece of pattern paper from the Sweet Celebrations paper pad, adding this to a white card base and then adhering my die cut panel with some foam tape for dimension..

Next, I took a sweet little pig from the Piggy Pebbles set, colouring her in with Polychromos, die cutting her out and adding her into the window die cut panel..

I finished this card by stamping a sentiment onto white card stock, adding this below my little piggy and added a scattering of sequins to complete the look..

Have fun with this sketch challenge this week..

Hi there

It is that time of the month where the team share creations for Hits and Highlights, highlighting a particular stamp or die, this month we are sharing creations using the Pumped Up Alphabet or Pumped Up Numbers..

I chose to stamp out the word Nuts using the Pumped Up Alphabet, using Natural Ink onto a white panel..

I then stamped out images from the Squirrel! stamp set and coloured in with Polychromos, die cutting out and adding just below the word Nuts..

I added another sentiment under the images, that I stamped using Bitty Birthday Wishes and die cut using Skinny Strips..

I completed this card by adding some white gel pen for highlights..

I hope you enjoy the inspiration this month and try out these stamp sets..

Don’t forget to head to the blog to see all the great creations..

Hi there

It is time for another Hello Sunday and I hope that this post will bring a little sunshine in your day!

First up today is a card I created and wanted to share with you all, I sat and crafted long distance over phone last night with a friend and although I would love to be able to be in the same room as her this was the next best thing..

I wanted to sit and colour and just relax, so I pulled out some Clearly Besotted stamps and because I adore Hippos I chose to colour up my Rainy Day Play with some Polychromos..

I added my little images to a white panel that I blended some Sunflower Ink and Memento Tuxedo ink to create a background..

Once I was happy with the look of the blending I took a white gel pen and added raindrops and then added my images..

I finished this card by stamping a sentiment and adding a few enamel dots…

Now, onto some sharing of some amazing artists again..

The first one that I wish to share with you is my Team Mate over at MFT, Francine Vuilleme, what can I say about this amazing lady, she is super kind, sweet and well her skills are just mind blowing, she thinks outside the box with stamp images and well her colouring is just as beautiful, her detail to shadows and depth is something I aspire each day..

Francine’s Blog, Instagram

My next artist is yet another person I had the pleasure of working with when I designed for Pretty Pink Posh, Marge, is yet another artist who I admire, with her watercolouring skills are just jaw dropping, I can only hope I can achieve that level of ability, she is so super sweet and so be sure to head over and send some love..

Marge’s Blog, Instagram

I will be back again next Sunday with yet another post, for now enjoy your Sunday and perusing these lovely artists blogs etc..

  • Your card is adorable and I love that you did it via long distance, too! Francine and Marge happen to be two of my favorite cardmakers–happy to see them featured here!ReplyCancel

Hello Again

Time for another challenge at MFT, this time let’s have some fun with the latest Colour Challenge, we are now sitting at number 138 so be sure to head over to HERE to view inspiration and details on how to enter..

I chose to use the colours through using a die cut image, to which I die cut different pieces of the Birthday Cake..

To a Primitive White card stock panel, I added some blending of the same colours of the challenge, Blu Raspberry, Ripe Raspberry and Lemon Chiffon, adding white and glitter gel pen for some sparkle..

I added my die cut cake, LOL think I made it a little too wonky but that is even more fun right?

I stamped a sentiment from the Birdie Brown Greetings onto a strip of Primitive White card stock, adding this below my cake..

Completing this card by adding lots of clear sequins to add even more sparkle and fun..

Have a great crafty day!

Hi there

How is your week going? I know it is such a trying time for all of the world right now and my hope is that this horrible time goes away as quickly as it has invaded us, hang in there everyone..

How about a little sunshine in your day and lets all play along this week in the Sketch Challenge at MFT, to see more inspiration and details on how you can enter just click HERE..

I chose to stick with one stamp set on my card but changing up the idea of the sketch using different images..

I chose to colour in some of the stamps from the Sunflower Sweetheart, die cutting out and adding to a white card base that I applied Blue Breeze ink to the centre of the card..

Completing the card by stamping a sentiment and tying a twine bow to the flowers..

Enjoy your crafting days, I will be back again tomorrow with yet another card..

Well hello again, yet another Sunday and yet another post for Hello Sunday, I truly hope you are enjoying your Sunday, I know the news around the world is quite horrendous right now and I know here in Australia it is getting even more real and scary each and every day that passes, I pray that they find a cure for us soon, stay safe my friends..

Today, I hope I bring some sunshine into your Sunday with bringing you yet another 2 great designers out in the crafting world, you may or may not have heard of these wonderful Artists, but I urge you to follow them and leave some love to them either on their blog or Instagram accounts..

The first one, Barbara Foldzik, I have followed Barbara for awhile now and came across her through my work for MFT, she is so super talented, with the soft looks to her cards and great photography skills, she is one that I admire so much..

Barbara’s Instagram

The next is Lisa Tilson, another fabulous and creative lady out there, I had the true honour to work along side Lisa whilst doing a guest appearance at Clearly Besotted and she has the most amazing skills at colouring one to truly follow and gain some inspiration..

Lisa’s Blog, Instagram, You Tube

I hope you will find sometime to head over and peruse both Barbara and Lisa’s amazing creations..

I know as I said at the start of this post that things are a little confronting and scary right now and we all need to try and stay calm, keep safe and keep distance plus hygiene needs to be apparent..

To keep our minds off things and even stay calm, why not pull out all those stamps that you have wanted to colour up and join in Kathy Racoosin’s 30 Day Coloring Challenge, you still have time to sit and colour and if it isn’t every day then I think that is okay, just taking some time to sit and relax and shut the head down this is a perfect thing to do..

To find out what this challenge is all about please visit Kathy’s Instagram feed, this is the 15th Challenge and it truly is amazing..

Well that is a wrap for my Hello Sunday, I look forward to bringing you even more next Sunday..

Enjoy and stay safe!
