Back here again tonight for the latest Sketch Challenge for MFT..I hope you find some time to play along, they are super fun…

Tonight we are up to 395, to view more details and inspiration just click, HERE..

For this sketch I stamped and coloured images from the Party like a Pirate, die cutting these out and setting aside..

Still at the die cutting station I took a piece of white card stock and ran it through the die cutting machine die cutting the Inside & Out Stitched Circle..

I added a cloud background to the panel using the Mini Cloud Stencil and Summer Splash Ink..

Next, I trimmed a piece of Black Licorice card stock to fit across the circle and stamped plus embossed with white embossing powder a sentiment from the same stamp set..

I added this sentiment strip along with my images to the circle then added the circle to a trimmed white card stock, to which I then added to a Kraft card base..

I really look forward to seeing your take on this weeks challenge..

Have a wonderful rest of the day, hopefully when this goes live, I will be snoring away..

Hi there

Woohoo! today is the day to shop the latest card kit from MFT…I really hope you have enjoyed the amazing creations from the DT, there are loads more for today also..

Today, I have a card for the more masculine feel again, this one well I am on the fence on, what I wanted just wouldn’t come together, maybe the mojo decided to have the day off LOL, but we all have those days and I am being brave and sharing with you all, hoping you will find some inspiration from the card..

So I took the Drifts and Hills Stencil and a trimmed piece of white card stock, adding the background using Blue Breeze, Blu Raspberry and Cornflower inks..

Once I was happy with this look, I took the freebie die called Birthday Boy and Girl and die cut into this panel..

I adhered this panel using foam tape to a white card base and using the letters that die cut out, I re glued them back down onto the card base..

I went back to the die cutting station and die cut some balloons out of Cornflower card stock and using the stars from the Baby Rattle, I scattered these over the card and balloons to complete..

Have fun shopping and more importantly have fun creating with this kit..

Have and awesome day everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying viewing loads of creations from the MFT Design Team using the latest card kit called Bundle of Balloons…

I have another creation to share with you all today too..

I stamped out the lion from the Safari Friends stamp set, coloured in with Copics and die cut out..

I then trimmed a piece of white card stock and applied Blue Breeze ink over the Mini Cloud Stencil to create a soft background..

At the base of the clouds I stamped a sentiment and added a strip of Black and White Stripes pattern paper under the sentiment..

Next, I positioned my lion but not adhering and stamped out the strings to my balloons, once happy with that placement I adhered the lion into position..

I die cut 3 balloons out of Red Hot, Lemon Drop and Tangy Orange card stocks, adding each to their strings and my card was complete..

I look forward to bringing you yet another card tomorrow, thank you as always for your lovely comments not only here on my blog but my other social media platforms, such a thrill to know that you enjoy what I create..

How was your weekend, hope you all had a great time..

We sure did, we had a celebration in our family, Darryl celebrated his birthday, I decided to throw him a small party and we all had a wonderful time, bit weary but it was so worth it..

Today at MFT we start to share the countdown of the latest card kit and we have more balloons for you all, this card kit is called Bundle of Balloons, so fun and fitting for my past weekend :)

I kept mine simple and really a wonderful masculine card..

I stamped out the balloons in Lemon Drop, Blu Raspberry, Cornflower and Cement Gray inks across the white card stock..

Once I was happy with the placement I took the Wish die and die cut into the stamped area, keeping all the letters..

I adhered the stamped card stock to a white card base and adhered the letters back into place with foam tape for dimension, hence giving the look of camouflaged…

To finish the card I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set under the Wish word and added a scattering of Clear Sequins..

I look forward to being back here tomorrow to share more with you…

Have a wonderful start to the day!

  • Denise Kitts-Wadlow

Love the more muted colors you chose for this card. Most guys don’t go in for alot of fluff and bright color. Also, love the way you incorporated the WISH die to stamp your balloons on. I know my hubby would love a card like this. Very “HANDSOME” card!!! Thanks for sharing!ReplyCancel

  • Angie Hollins

Hope you are all having a great week, tonight starts the latest sketch challenge for the week…

Currently sitting at Sketch number 394, to view more inspiration and details on how you can enter this week for a chance to win, just click HERE

I chose to create using the latest Gift Shaker Window and Frame and Bubble Over with Joy..

Stamping out a sweet little rabbit and colouring with Copics, die cutting and setting aside..

I then die cut the Gift Shaker Window and Frame out of white card stock, adding circles to the square sections using the Basic Shape Circle Stencil and Berrylicious, Wild Wisteria, Pink Lemonade and Lemon Chiffon inks…

Onto a Kraft piece of card stock, I added more circles but using some Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink…

Next I added the frame using foam tape and adhered the squares straight to the Kraft card stock..

I added my little bunny and finished by adding a stamped sentiment under the frame and some Clear Sequins…

I hope you have fun playing along this week..

Typing as flat out as I can here, sadly woke this morning and the internet was down, did not matter what I did to fix it was shot, but finally it is back online again and finally I can share my July Just Add Color post with you all..

I did something a little different to show you how you can do a quick colour with your inks, in this case I used Distress Oxide inks..

I stamped out 3 of the peacocks from the Playful Peacocks, embossed with Gold Embossing Powder and applied Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Salty Ocean, die cutting out so that you could see the full effect..

This is just another way to add colour but also if you are pushed for time, don’t be afraid to pull out your inks and blend together..

Be sure to head to the blog to see what the others have done for the post today..

Thanks for your patience..
