Hi

That time of the week again at MFT the new Sketch Challenge starts, I hope you really enjoy playing along and seeing loads of inspiration each week, we are currently at number 385, to find out how you can play along for a chance at winning just click HERE

I chose to use the Sushi Date this week, colouring up one of the Panda’s, some Bamboo and Accessories with Copics, die cutting out and setting aside..

I then took a piece of white card stock, that I trimmed down to be slightly smaller then the card base, adding Electric Red ink to the base..

On the right hand side of the card front, I added strips of pattern paper from the Black and White Stripes and Dots and Stripes Bright…

I added my little images and completed the card and sketch by adding a sentiment…

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to pop back in a few minutes for a really fun post from the DT at MFT..

Hugs

Hi Again

Back again tonight to share my latest MFT and Friends creation with you all tonight..

That little Pure Innocence girl that you saw the other day in Just add Color well yep, she made it to a card, she was just too cute to put aside..

The card itself, I die cut into a white panel using the Pierced Heart Stax, adding a piece of pattern paper from the Tiny Hearts Pastels paper pad…

Still at the die cutting station I took some Pure Plum card stock along with the Stitched Alphabet and using the X and the O I die cut these out adding these to the heart..

I added my little girl and stamped a sentiment onto a piece of white card stock, finishing the card by adding a strip of Black and White striped paper at the base and a scattering of Strawberry Sequins..

Be sure to swing past to see who will be joining the team this month and to see more inspiration from the DT..

Enjoy your day!

Hugs

Hi there

Hope you are all having a good start to your week…the weather for Autumn has finally kicked in here and it has been so nice to finally have some rain, but cooler days too..

This past weekend as a lot of you will know was Mother’s Day weekend, we had a lovely lunch with my Mum and visited Darryl’s Mum in the afternoon..

I wanted to pop in and share the card that I gave my Mum, this was a card I created when I was away at our annual craft retreat..

It was lovely to just sit and craft with all the different goodies that everyone brought..

I chose to use the Clearly Besotted, Make a Wish and colour the beautiful flower with my Polychromos..I know I so need a lot more practice but I thoroughly enjoyed the process…

I added this to a card base that I scored lines around the edge to give it a lot more texture, having the flower hang off to one side and trimming the excess..

Finishing out the card by stamping a sentiment and scattering of Clear Sequins..

I will be back again tonight to share another creation with you all, for now enjoy the rest of your day!

Hugs

Hi

Just popping in today to share the latest Just Add Color project..

I chose to colour up the sweet little Pure Innocence girl called Love you a Bunch from the May Release..

This is another great opportunity for the DT to share their colouring skills with you all, plus more inspiration for the latest release..

This time I decided to just share the little girl coloured in..

I have a list of Copics that I used to colour her in…

Skin:  I start with a base line of E04, then add the next darkest colour E11, I blend that out with E01 and E00, I generally will go over the skin parts 2-3 times until I am happy with the blending..

Hair: Starting with the darkest colour where I feel the shadows would land on the hair, however, I have to add here, I just love to colour so getting shadows and doing the right things with Copics don’t always apply with me LOL..so E47 is my darkest on this hair, I then flick from that to E44, lightest E42, then the lightest E41..

Now with Skin and Hair, I don’t always start with the darkest colours, I do switch it out with the lightest colours first, just depends how lazy I want to be, but then again, some people just colour that way too :) each to their own I say..

So normally with these little PI girls I like to paper piece her outfits, but for the Just Add Color I wanted to colour the dress, so with the dress I used Rv52, R83, RV93 and RV91..

Shoes:  N4, N3, N1

I used these colours for what the flowers were wrapped in also..

The flowers themselves I added V04, V12, R14, R22 and Y19..

Looking forward to bringing a card here to my blog with this little sweetie..

Be sure to head over to the Blog to see the rest of the teams creations..

Hugs

Hello

Back tonight for the MFT Sketch Challenge, for more details on the challenge and how you can enter for a chance to win, click HERE

I chose to use the Loveable Leopards, colouring in the one that is lying over the branch, such cuties…

I then worked on the background of my card, by adding a stencil feature using the Framework Stencil and Lemon Drop ink, upon looking it at it now, I think it needed a darker colour to show up in the photograph, but in real life it is so much better..

I then added my leopard along with a sentiment that I stamped and embossed with White Embossing powder onto Black Licorice card stock, die cutting around the sentiment using the Stitched Sentiment Strips..

Completing the card by adding some Birthday Girl Sprinkles to match the sketch..

Have fun playing along this week..

Hugs

I am going to be sharing 1 last card using the sweet Hello, Little One set..

I coloured in the images I wished to use and die cut these out, setting aside to work on the rest of the card..

Taking a piece of white card stock, I die cut a Stitched Rectangle and using the Basic Shapes-Circle Stencil, I applied inks of Wild Wisteria, Lemon Drop and Berrylicious, to create a soft background..

I added my stamped images along with a sentiment and some scattering of Clear Sequins and the card was complete..
