Gosh, August already, before we know it, it will be Christmas, super scary how time is flying by so quickly..

Being August and a new month that means at MFT there is the start of a new Release Countdown and I start you out with Day 5..

I created my card using the Carousel Horses and Carousel Die..

I stamped out my images that I wished to use on my card then coloured with Copics and die cut out..

Whilst at the die cutting station I took one of the poles from the Carousel Die and ran it through the die cutting machine, die cutting several layers of Silver Sparkle, adhering each of the layers together to form dimension..

Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock and blended Chipped Sapphire, Stormy Sky and Shaded Lilac, adding flicks of water over the top to make the ink wick..

I added my images and a sentiment that I embossed with Silver Embossing Powder onto Vellum..

I finished the card by adding die cut Silver Sparkle Hearts and Clear Sequins…

Don’t forget to swing past the blog to see what the rest of the team has created for Day 5..

I will be back tomorrow with Day 4..

Hi there

Hope the week is going well for you all, I am looking forward to the weekend I must admit, happy that I won’t be working and hopefully grab some crafty time..

Speaking of crafty time how about a card share..

Middle of the week and that means a new Sketch Challenge to play along with, to find out more details head over HERE

I chose to create another Christmas card, having these sketches are allowing me to add a card a week to the Christmas pile, well not all the time but most of the time…

Taking out the Snow Globe dies and creating my little snowman out of White, Black Licorice, Electric Red and Coral Crush card stocks..

I also die cut a snow bank out of white card stock and the trees from the same set out of Sour Apple and Gumdrop Green..

I set all these aside and worked on the rest of the sketch, trimming pieces of Grout Gray card stock strips, to these strips I embossed sentiments using sentiments from the Snow Globe Sentiments..

I added the strips to one corner of a white card base, with the middle strip adding Sno Cone card stock..

I went about adding my little snow scene using the die cuts and completed the card by die cutting a snowflake from the Stylish Snowflakes out of Sno Cone..

I hope you have fun creating with this sketch..

Hello there

Cannot believe we are the middle of another week and how is it flying by..

Middle of the week means another Sketch Challenge for MFT and number 477 is up on the agenda today, so be sure to check out the details on how to enter to win and to get you started, there is loads of inspiration from the DT so be sure to click HERE for more information..

I chose to add to my Christmas card collection and created a simple card..

Stamping out one of the Yeti’s from the Beast Friends and coloured with Copics, adding a scarf, hat and a present to him also..

I then took a white panel and added some blending, using the Drifts and Hills Stencil and some Green Room and Poppy Inks..Adding white gel dots over the inked areas as if snow was falling..

I added a stamped sentiment to the top of the panel, stamping this from the Hand Lettered Holiday..

Completing the card by adding my little Yeti and my card was complete..

Have loads of fun creating for this challenge..

Hi there

Today at MFT is the final day of sharing creations using the July Card Kit, so be sure to head to the blog to see many more amazing creations using this fabulous kit..

I am sharing a shaker card this time..

Die cutting the wine glass into a panel of Ripe Raspberry, on the other side of the panel I die cut the word Cheers, from the Simply Cheers die..

I added some acetate to the back and added 2 layers of foam tape to form dimension, adding sequins and sealing up..

I added a strip of pattern paper at the back of the shaker panel from the Black and White Stripes paper pad..

On the top part of the shaker I added a bit of Silver Sparkle card stock and added this to a white card base..

On the other side of the shaker I added a stamped sentiment to complete the card..

Have a fabulous time shopping and I look forward to seeing what you create with this kit..

Enjoy your day!

Back again today to share my day 2 of the July Card Kit, Let’s Toast-With a Twist..

Be sure to head to the blog also to see more amazing creations from the DT..

I chose to use the colours from the card kit with this card, but in the form of inks, Blu Raspberry, Green Room and Grape Jelly, die cutting each of the glasses and colouring each one with the inks..

I also chose to use the free die when you spent over $60 from the latest release called Simply Cheers..die cutting using Black Licorice and adding the word Cheers on top with White Tooth card stock..

I added a Silver Sparkle strip to the base of a white panel, then added my glasses to which I had added some white gel pen and then the word Cheers..

Completing this card by adding another sentiment from A Toast to You and some Clear Sequins..

I will be back tomorrow with one last card using the fabulous products from the kit..

Happy Monday! These weekends seem to fly by too quickly these days, but did achieve quite a bit this weekend so was quite happy..

Today at MFT we are starting to share creations using the July Card Kit called, Let’s Toast – With a Twist..

I chose to bring back the Chalkboard Effect and create some white gel pen lines onto a Black Licorice card stock..

Once these dried off I took stamps from the Valentine Wishes and Bubble Over with Joy, adding a sentiment at the base of the card stock and some bubbles at the top..

I then took White Tooth ink and applied onto the card stock rubbing it out with some paper towel to give the effect of chalk being written..

I die cut the wine glass from the Let’s Toast It dies out of Ripe Raspberry, adding this towards the bottom of the card..

Next, was to add a sentiment that I stamped using Ripe Raspberry and adding this to the top of the card..

Completing this card by stamping some stars from the Fireworks stamp set and a scattering of Clear Sequins..

Don’t forget to head over to the blog to check out even more creations from the DT…

Have a great rest of the day!
