Hi there

Back here sharing my day 2 card for the October Card Kit from MFT, I hope you are liking what you have seen using the Snowglobe Greetings, it is such a fun kit to work with..

Swing past the blog to see even more great creations using the kit from the team..

I chose a more graphic feel again for this card keeping simple elements and joining them together to form this card..

I first embossed the Knitted Sweater Background stamp onto white card stock and applied a heavy coat of After Midnight ink over the top, I die cut a circle out of this background using Circle Stax 1..

I then stayed at the die cutting machine and die cut several layers of white card stock, die cutting the freebie die Believe, adding a top layer of Silver Sparkle for some shine..

Next, to die cut was the Miseltoe Kisses out of some Cement Gray card stock..

I then added all these die cut elements to a white panel and completed this card by adding some enamel dots as the berries and stamped a sentiment onto white card stock from the Bitty Holiday Wishes, die cutting this with Skinny Stips..

I will be back again tomorrow for the last day using the October Card Kit..

Have a fun crafty day!

Hello there

So it is that time of the month where the team at MFT start to share creations using the card kit and this month as we are nearing closer is Christmas related and such a sweet card kit, make sure to pop on over to the blog to view what the team have created for the first day of viewings..

My card I went with what I call a more graphic style, placing elements on their own to create the CAS style..

I chose the Miseltoe Kisses die, running it through the die cutting machine twice, once cutting some white card stock and the other with some Vellum, to which I adhered both together and then die cutting a Electric Red bow..

Still at the die cutting station, I took the Impact Numbers, running it through the die cutting machine several times out of white card stock and with the top layer adding Silver Sparkle..

The last thing that I die cut was snowflakes from the Stylish Snowflakes out of Sno Cone card stock, adhering together..

Next, I took a white panel that I used the Scor Buddy to add some embossing around the edge of the card..

Adding a stamped sentiment in the top right hand corner from the Snow Globe Greetings set..

Then I went about adding my other elements and completed this card by adding some clear sequins..

Sorry for the washed out look of the photo, seems because there was a lot of white my camera just did not wish to respond..

I will be back again here tomorrow to share even more from the kit..

Have a wonderful rest of the day..

Hello Again

Back to share the latest sketch challenge at MFT..we are currently sitting at number 459 and I sure hope you will play along this month, for more details on how you can enter for a chance to win and see loads of inspiration then head on over HERE..

Now I have to admit, we all make those cards when we are not completely happy and I have to say that this card is one of them, but I am sharing as well like you I have those less then creative moments..

I took 2 panels of cards stock, After Midnight and Electric red and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder, stamping the background stamp Ho, Ho, Ho..

I added these card stocks to a white base matching the sketch and then went ahead and die cut a snowflake from the Stylish Snowflakes out of white card stock and added this to the centre of the other card stocks..

Completing this sketch card by stamping a sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes and die cutting out using Skinny Strips, adding across the centre of the snowflake and added a few clear sequins..

I look forward in seeing what you create this week…

Have fun!

Hello there

I hope you are all having a fabulous day…plus I hope you are enjoying seeing what is being released out of the MFT Vault this month..

I am sharing my second card for the Vault Release and this time I worked with Toasty Greetings set, how cute and adorable are those Snowman and Penguins..

For me I chose to use one of the Snowman, colouring with Copics and die cutting..

I then masked off an area on a white panel and inked with Tropical Teal, to give a snowy night scene…

I added white gel pen to look as though the snow was falling then took the mask off and added my little toasty snowman and the fire..

I stamped a sentiment onto a strip of white card stock and added a bit of glitter with a strip of Silver Sparkle..

I hope you will head over to the blog to view even more amazing creations from the team..

Have a great day!

  • Emma Sleppy

Cute card. After all these posts, I need some marshmallows! LOL!ReplyCancel

So it is that time of the month and we get to release even more product from the Vault..So many fantastic stamps and dies…

I worked with Pure Innocence, Angel along with Merry Frame that is being released..

Starting out by stamping the Angel and colouring with Copics, die cutting out and adding some sparkle to her with a glitter pen, setting her aside..

I then die cut the Merry frame out of Cement Gray card stock along with die cutting again out of white card stock..

With the inner section of the white frame, I took Tickled Pink ink and applied to give a soft hue..

Next, was die cutting even more card stock, but this time for some snow banks, using the Snowy Scene Builder, adding the snow banks to the frame then onto a white card base, trimming down the inked panel to fit behind the snow banks..

I added more glitter and white gel pen to the inked background, adding my Angel and stamping a sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes, onto white card stock that I embossed with silver embossing powder and die cut using the Skinny Strips..

I hope you enjoy viewing what is being released from the Vault this month, I will be back tomorrow with Day 2, don’t forget in the meantime to head over to the blog for more amazing creations..

Hi there

Hooray!! It’s time to shop the MFT October Release, I hope you will be just as excited as I was to play with all the goodness..

Today I am sharing one last project with you and joining the MFT gals will be some friends around crafty land, so be sure to check out the blog..

I went outside my comfort zone with this card and creativity, what I call my kind of interactive LOL, well if you are like me and just cannot build things so looking at interactive becomes almost impossible or gives anxiety LOL then this is great alternative..

I chose to die cut the Gift Card Pocket out of white card stock and whilst at the die cutting machine cut all the components out for the Christmas Crew – Santa..

Adhering all the components to the pocket and adding this to a white panel, to which I stamped a sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes down one side of the panel..

Finishing off the card by adding scattering of sequins and adding this all to a Cement Gray card front..

Thank you for stopping by this release and leaving such wonderful comments, I appreciate each and everyone of them..

Have a fantastic day!
