I hope you are all enjoying your day and that you have been super busy shopping the latest release from MFT..

Today we start something special that will be happening each month, the design team will be sharing projects all around our colouring, we are sharing loads of inspiration on how you can show case your colouring skills on your projects using all types of colouring mediums..

This also is another opportunity for us as a team to show you more inspiration using the latest release..

I chose to use a set that I did not get to play with this month called Too-Cute Turtles..

I wanted to show that you can colour your images in with Copics but in a monochromatic way, using only neutral colours and still have an impact on the card..

So I took one of the turtles and used my N5, N4, N3 and N1 group of Copics, coloured in like I would any other images, adding in the darker areas for shadows…

I die cut the turtle out and set aside to work on the rest of the card..

Die cutting the Single Stitch Line Circle Frames several times out of white card stock, adhering the frames together and with one of the inner circles, I applied Blue Breeze ink..

Next, I took the Stitched Rainbow die and die cutting Blu Raspberry, Wild Wisteria, Sour Apple, Daffodil, Orange Fizz and Electric Red card stock, adhering to the inked panel..

I added both circles to a trimmed white card and taking sentiments from the Aim for the Clouds I stamped one at the top of the card and one at the bottom..

I hope you were inspired to colour with neutral colours today, for more inspiration head over to the Blog..

Hi there

Back again tonight with the latest Sketch Challenge for MFT, current one is 379…

To see how you can play along this week and have a chance at winning a voucher then just click HERE…the team also have some amazing inspiration to get you started…

Because out here in Australia we are heading into our Winter months, I thought tonight I would share a card on the more wintery side, using the Ski-sons Greetings..

I stamped out my little bear skier and coloured in with Copics, die cutting out and setting aside..

Still at the die cutting machine, I die cut a trimmed white panel using the Stitched Basic Edges 2 and also die cutting some trees from the Chill Wishes die set out of Sour Apple and Jellybean Green card stocks..

To the base of the card, I added a stencil feature at the top, using the Mini Cloud stencil and some Blue Breeze ink..

I added some Beetle Black Twine around the die cut panel and then added this to the card base with foam tape for a slight dimension..

Next, I adhered my image and trees and completed the card by stamping a sentiment onto After Midnight card stock and embossing with White Embossing powder..

I had fun with this sketch this week and I sure hope you all do too..

Have a great rest of the day!

We finally made it, today is the day you can start shopping, I hope you love what you have seen this release and I look forward to seeing all your projects, be sure to check out what the team created today by heading over HERE..

I chose to create with the Toad-ally Awesome stamp and die set and of course had to add a little bit of felt to my card..

I took one of the toads, stamped out and coloured in with Copics, I die cut around and die cut the lilypad he was going to be jumping from our of Limelight Felt, set these aside..

I then trimmed a piece of white card stock, slightly smaller then the card front and added Berrylicious ink to the centre..

Once I was happy with the blending, I added my lillypad and toad..

I then took sentiments from the Toad-ally Awesome set along with the From the Heart stamp set and stamped and embossed with White Embossing Powder onto Limelight, Sour Apple and Gumdrop Green card stocks, trimming each of the sentiments down and adding to my card..

I completed the card by adding some score lines and some Tiny Heart Shape Sprinkles..

A very simple card but one that you could mass produce..

Have fun Shopping!

Hi there

Inching closer to the purchasing day of the MFT April Release products..I hope you have enjoyed viewing all the creations from the DT this month..

I am back here today with Day 1 and I have an engagement card or a wedding card that you could use for that occasion..

I chose to keep everything pretty much white base, by die cutting the word Congrats and also die cutting several layers of the Single Stitch Line Tag Corner Rectangle die, adhering all the frames together to form dimension..

I then used the Loopy Bloom die and some Pure Plum felt and die cut, rolling up the loopy bloom to form into a flower, such a fun die to work with..

Still at the die cutting machine, I took the leaf die from the Bold Blossoms set and ran it through 6 times die cutting the Sour Apple Felt, adding this to the back of the flower..

I trimmed a piece of white card stock to be smaller then the card front and adhered the frame along with the word Congrats and the Loopy Bloom..

I finished off the card by adding a sentiment from the, From the Heart, that I embossed with Silver Embossing powder and a scattering of pearls..

I look forward to being back here tomorrow for release day!

Hi there

I am back again tonight with an important blog post..

If you have been around the crafting blog world for sometime you will know of this beautiful lady Veronica Zalis, she was a former team mate over at MFT, she is hosting a Awareness for Autism blog hop, to raise awareness about this disease and to all who are affected or are touched in some way with Autism…

The crew at MFT are hosting a challenge to share their support and awareness of Autism, why not come along and join in by creating something Blue, to see more of the challenge details and to view what prizes are up for grabs, head on over HERE

I created my card all around the colour blue, by die cutting Shining Stars out of some Pastel Glitter Sheets..

Whilst at the die cutting machine, I took some After Midnight card stock and die cut a Stitched Star Stax, setting both of these aside to work on the rest of the card..

Trimming a piece of white card stock down to be smaller then the card front, I then took the Radiating Rays Stencil and applied Blue Yonder ink over the centre portion of the card stock..

Once I was happy with the look, I added my star and my die cut word and adhered with foam tape..

I stamped a sentiment onto some Black Licorice card stock from the Written in the Stars stamp set and applied white embossing powder, die cutting around the sentiment using the Rectangle Word Frames, adding the sentiment just under the Stars die cut word..

I completed the card by adding some Swimming Pool Sprinkles…

Let’s get behind a great cause and support and share awareness of these amazing people..

Hello there

I do hope you all enjoyed or are still enjoying the Easter festivities…

Today here on the blog I am sharing my creation for Day 2 of the MFT April Release Countdown..

I am sharing a card using the cute A Tweet Hello set..these birds are sweeties..

I stamped them out and coloured with Copics, die cut them out along with the flowers and leaves..

Next, I took a piece of white card stock and trimmed it slightly smaller then the card front, I added my little birds, flowers and leaves along the centre and then embossed a sentiment onto Black Licorice card stock and die cut around the sentiment using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips, adding this under the birds…

I needed a little extra to this card, so taking out my Score-Buddy I scored around the edge of the card 3 times to give an embossed feature..

I finished the card by adding a scattering of Clear Sequins and the card was complete..

Have a great time viewing all the DT amazing creations..

I will see you all back here tomorrow for Day 1..
