Sketch Challenge!

Hi there

Hope your week is going really well..

I have some sad news to share tonight before I share the card for the sketch challenge at MFT..

I have done a lot of soul searching over the last few months since loosing Darryl and knowing I have a lot more responsibilities to my sadly changed life and so with limited hours and feeling like I need to take a break from card making, I have made the decision to stand down from the beautiful MFT team..

I cannot thank Kim, Jody, Steph and Erica and my talented team members enough for their constant support, love and care that they have shown me over the years, they mean the world to me and I will miss each and everyone of them..

So now I share my last card for MFT as a DT member..

Don’t forget to head to the blog to see more inspiration and details on how you can enter for a chance at winning..

I chose to work with the Squirrel! colouring them in with Copics and die cutting setting aside..

Whilst at the die cutting machine, I took the A2 Circle Stax and die cut a white panel then taking the Mini Cloud Stencil adding some ink to create a sky and then adding a lawned area as well…

I added this to my card then took some pattern paper from the Creepy Confections and die cut more circles, adding these to match the sketch..

I added my squirrel and an enamel dot, then added a sentiment to the base as well as more pattern paper and my card was complete..

I want to thank all my readers that take the time to pass by my blog and read all the posts that I have posted over the years for MFT, I will miss reading all your comments..

I have some guesting spots that I am fulfilling and then stepping away to take a break and start a new venture which I will share in due course..

Sketch Challenge!

Hi there

Gosh, I have been a little MIA, sadly I ended up sick for the 3rd time this year, infected sinuses, so the mojo went on a hiatus and I don’t think it has returned, as I am struggling to get into the crafting..

I do however, have a card for this weeks sketch challenge over at MFT, don’t forget if you wish to play along just go HERE to enter and find loads of inspiration..

I chose to use the elephant from the Birthday Buds, stamping out and colouring with Copics, die cutting and setting aside..

I then took the A2 Stitched Circle Stax die and die cut a white circle along with a pattern paper one, paper from the Party Plaid..

I trimmed strip from the same paper pad and added all the die cut pieces to a white card base..

I added my little elephant and completed this card by stamping sentiments from the Bitty Birthday, die cutting using the Skinny Strips and adding the 2 sentiments alongside the elephant..

I hope you have fun playing along this week..

MFT and Friends!

Hope your week has been a good one and that you have been enjoying all the wonderful creations as well as product that is being released today at MFT..

Be sure to head to the blog for more inspiration not just from the team, but also from some fabulous crafters..

I decided to create with the sweet little Holly Jolly Cardinals die set, die cutting all the pieces to create the cardinal as well as the holly and branch..

I then took a panel of white card stock and added some score lines around the outside..

I pieced all my cardinal and branch with holly together and added to the card and then completed this card by adding sentiments above and below the cardinal from the Bitty Holiday Wishes..

Have fun shopping!

Last Day!

Gosh, we have finally made it to the last day of the September Release Countdown for MFT, I hope you have been liking all the inspiration as well as the amazing product that is being released..

Don’t forget to head to the blog to see even more today..

I worked with Tree Trio dies to create a very simple sympathy card..

As we know we always struggle at times to create these types of cards, as I am well aware of..

So die cutting the trees out of Gumdrop Green, Sour Apple and Chocolate Brown card stocks, joining the trunks to the tree..

I then took a white panel and added score lines around the outside to give it a more detailed look..

Stamping a sentiment towards the bottom from the stamp set, Deepest Sympathy and then adding my trees…

This card is super simple that you create many in a row with the possibilities of different coloured card stocks for the trees for a different look..

I will be back with MFT and Friends tomorrow..

Thanks for stopping by..

Getting Closer!

Hi there

We inch that much closer to the full reveal of the MFT September Release, so today is day 2 of the countdown and I am sure you are eager to head to the blog to see even more..

Today’s card here I created something very CAS, using one of the cute dogs and holly from the Peace, Love and Paws stamp set, colouring in with Copics and die cutting out..

I then took a white panel and die cut to one side using the free die for the month when you spend over $60 called, Stacked Merry..

I added this along with some Gold Sparkle card stock to a white card base..

I added my little images and completed the card by stamping a sentiment and die cutting using the Skinny Strips, adding this just above the sweet little dog..

I look forward being back here again tomorrow..

Are you all having a great weekend, hope you manage to get some crafty time..

I am back to share the halfway mark of the September Countdown for MFT, be sure to head to the blog to check out all the rest of the amazing products and creations..

I chose to work with two lots of product on this card, Joyous Holidays and Personalized Tags..

Die cutting the word HO out of Electric Red card stock using the Personalized Tags, three times..

I then took the three reindeer’s from the Joyous Holidays set and coloured with Copics..

I then took a white panel and added the words HO and then the reindeer’s to complete the card..

Enjoy the halfway mark, I will be back again tomorrow..
