Sketch Challenge 472!

Hello

Been awhile since last here, well it seems that way…I hope you have all been crafting up a storm..

Whilst you are crafting how about come and play in this weeks Sketch Challenge at MFT, to check how to enter for a chance at winning and more inspiration to get you started just click HERE..

I chose a very simple layout, following the sketch and adding some..

So to start out I trimmed down 3 strips of Sno Cone card stock and with the middle piece I ran it through the die cutting machine die cutting the stars from the Stitch-able Falling Stars, adding each of these to a white card base..

I then worked on the images that I wished to use of the card and took the Nurse from Calling the Shots along with her other medical images and coloured in with Copics, adding these to the card front also..

I completed this card by stamping a sentiment onto white card stock from the Bitty Thanks and Gratitude and die cut around this using the Skinny Strips, adding this to the top of the card…

I chose to add my panel to an After Midnight card base and my card was complete..

I sure do hope you have fun playing this weeks Sketch..

For now enjoy your day and I will be back again soon with even more for you to view..

Hugs

Wow! What a great card! I love your Copic coloring, especially the gray hair (another, and more emphatic WOW!!), although you did a great job on her scrubs as well. I really like your use of Sno Cone cardstock because it’s the pretty cousin to the institutional shade of green often used in hospitals and, last but not least, I like what you did with the three strips of the Sno Cone; the first being down to the “floor” for the nurse to stand on, the second much shorter and given some dimension with its falling stars, and the third strip being given even more dimension. It’s just all around perfect! *** I’d love to know or even better – see, how you did her hair. I could really put it to good use. Have a YouTube video out here somewhere? ***ReplyCancel
