MFT July Release Countdown Day 5!

Hi there

Hope you are all having a great week and YAY! for it almost the end too, it has certainly been quite a long one here..

So today we start the July countdown and what a fun release you have ahead of you all..

Let’s start you out with Day 5, I am sharing a Birdie Brown stamp set called Drink up the Sunshine along with the Bitty Birthday Wishes..

I decided to do a little masking and keep the image part a one layer, I stamped out the little girl onto white card stock, then I restamped her onto some masking paper to which I cut around and added to the main stamped image, I then took Lemon Drop and Summer Splash to added a sky and water feature..

I had my first go at using Copics to create a water scene, not sure that I achieved but was fun trying..

I finished colouring her and trimmed down the panel…

I stamped a sentiment from the Bitty Birthday onto a piece of Black Licorice card stock, embossed with white embossing powder and die cut using the Skinny Strips..

I trimmed pieces of pattern paper from the Over the Rainbow paper pad, adding a layering effect to a white card base, adding my image to the top and then then sentiment..

Completing the card by adding some enamel dots..

Be sure to head to the blog to see the rest of the DT work..
