MFT Sketch Challenge 380!

Hi there

Been a really really hot day here today, you wouldn’t think it was Autumn with almost 40 degree heat, horrible, no rain in sight either, so we are still definitely in drought, I can honestly say I am done with the Summer heat..

So today I hunkered down and did a little colouring, good opportunity to get some images in the stash pile to use for future cards..

Onto tonight’s card, it is Wednesday, so at MFT that means a new Sketch Challenge starts..

I hope you all enjoy playing along with these sketches, to view loads of inspiration from the DT and how to play along with this weeks Sketch for a chance at winning, just click HERE..

I chose to colour in the girl from the, You’re Super, colouring in with loads of pink, die cutting her out and setting aside..

Next, I took a piece of white card stock and die cut a circle, adding Black Soot, Razzle Berry, Cotton Candy and Tickled Pink to the die cut, once I was happy with the look, I flicked water over the top to let the ink wick..

Once the card stock was dry, I stamped the city scene from the stamp set along the edge of the Black Soot inked area..

I added the panel to a trimmed piece of white card stock and moved onto the sentiment, that I stamped and embossed with White Embossing Powder on Razzle Berry card stock, die cutting around the sentiment with the Rectangle Word Window Frames..

Adding my sentiment and girl to the circle feature and finishing the card by adding some stars using white gel pen..

Have fun playing along this week..

Hugs

Cute card. I love your design elements. The heat (and fires) lasted in N Calif well into Dec. Until the last few weeks it looked like our winter drought would continue, but we’ve had rain. I’m hoping we don’t suffer through another endless summer of blasting heat. And I hope your winter brings rain and cooler temps.ReplyCancel
