April MFT and Friends!

Hello there

Hope you are all having a wonderful and crafty day or night..

Tonight I am popping in to share one of the new features at MFT called MFT and Friends, this used to be called Release Replay where the DT shared loads more inspiration using the latest release, we are still doing this, but we are asking other people outside the MFT family to join in on the fun too..so be sure to check out the blog to see who is joining us on our first MFT and Friends..

I didn’t get to work with one of Birdie Brown stamp sets this month so my MFT and Friends was the perfect opportunity to pull out the sweet Rain or Shine set, stamping out one of the little girls and the little chick, colouring in with Copics and die cutting them out..

Trimming down a piece of white card stock and using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle, I die cut into the white card stock, using the inner section to add a feature using the Mini Cloud Stencil with Gray Grout ink and then going over the top with the latest stencil Mini Raindrops in Cement Gray ink..

I added along the base of this card stock a trimmed piece of pattern paper from the Birthday Blowout pack and adhered this to a white card base using some foam tape, gluing the inner section straight to the card front..

Back to the die cutting station, I took some Steel Grey card stock and the Oval Shadows, die cutting one and adding to the card front, then adding my little girl and duck..

I completed the card by stamping sentiment onto Black Licorice card stock and embossing with White Embossing Powder and a scattering of Clear Sequins..

I hope you are all having fun with the latest release, I look forward being back here tomorrow with the latest Sketch Challenge..

Have a fantastic day!
