MFT October Release Countdown Day 3!

Happy Sunday

Gosh to wake up this morning after very little sleep and loosing an hours sleep due to Daylight Savings starting, to say the least your comments have not only made me smile but is helping me get through what I feel will be a long day LOL..

I feel that you are all loving the what you are seeing for the October Release from MFT and today we are at day 3, so inching closer..

I am using the Dashing Deer as my main feature on this card..

Starting out by die cutting some white card stock using the A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax 1 set and taking one of the leaf motifs from the Dashing Deer set, I created a background feature stamping and embossing with White Embossing Powder, covering the entire piece..

I then die cut another piece of white card stock using the same rectangle die and using the snow bank die from Snow Globe, I die cut a piece off the bottom to form a bank that would go on my scene..

Next, I stamped out the two little deer and coloured with Copics, die cutting these and setting aside..

Continuing with die cutting I took then next size up in the rectangle dies and die cut some Sno Cone card stock, along with die cutting some snowflakes from Let it Snowflake Too..

I stamped a sentiment using Poppy ink onto my snow bank and then started to assemble all my pieces together to create my scene, adhering everything to a white card base..

Remember to head on over to the Blog today and check out the rest of the DT works and send some happy comments their way too :)

Have a fabulous day!
