MFT October Release Countdown Day 2!

Hello

I cannot believe we are almost at the end of the October Release Countdown for MFT..I am sure those wishlist’s are being written madly and the choosing of what products that you really wish to play with is getting exciting..

Today we have reached Day 2 and today I have used the sweet little Pure Innocence called Nice List..

I kept this card pretty simple with addition of other products to compliment this little girl..

I stamped her out and coloured her in with Copics, die cutting her out and stamping once again onto some pattern paper from Plaid Patterns Merry & Bright, hand cutting out the dress only and paper piecing onto the main image, setting her aside..

I then took some white card stock and the A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax 2, die cutting a panel out to which I then stamped and embossed with White Embossing Powder the word Falala and snowflakes from the new stamp set called Handwritten Holiday, once it was set I took Blue Breeze ink and applied over the top part of the panel, giving the embossed resist look..

I added my little girl to the one side of the panel and taking a sentiment from the Snow Glob Sentiments, stamping onto more white card stock and die cutting around using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips, adding this sentiment under the embossed one..

I completed the card by die cutting another piece of the same pattern paper using the A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax 2, mounting the main panel to this and then onto the card base, adding a Sno Cone snowflake that was die cut from the Let it Snowflake Too and twine to complete..

Have fun checking out the rest of the DT projects today, they really are super awesome..

Enjoy the rest of the day!

Hugs

What a great idea to die cut the image again from patterned paper, and selectively trimming so that the dress coordinates so nicely! This is a darling card with such pretty colors.ReplyCancel
