MFT October Release Countdown Day 1!

We are almost there, the MFT October Release Countdown is live tomorrow, so we have one last day to share more inspiration for you all..

So that begins our day 1, I chose to move away from some Christmas card making and worked with a bit of love..

Speaking of love, I created the whole card around the Huge Love die..

Firstly, I took some white card stock along with some Tickled Pink and Ripe Raspberry inks, I then looked at the Drifts and Hills stencil and even though it is supposed to be used for that purpose of creating snow drifts and hills, I chose to also use it to create a fun background feature, by apply the inks and overlapping one another to create a pretty effect, so always look at different ways that you can use your product, that means you get more out of your purchases..

Once I was happy with the look, I took the Huge Love die and die cut into the inked panel, keeping the letters, I foam mounted the panel to a white card base and with the letters I adhered directly to the card base so that there was dimension between the two..

I then stamped a sentiment and embossed with White Embossing powder onto Black Licorice card stock, this sentiment came from the X’s and O’s stamp set..I die cut around the sentiment using the Slanted Sentiment Strips, adding this under the Love die cut..

I completed the look to the card by taking some Ripe Raspberry card stock and die cutting some hearts using the Tic Tac Toe set, adding these to the end of the love die cut..

Don’t forget to swing past the Blog today to see more inspiration from the team..

I will be back tomorrow for release day!
