MFT June Release Countdown Day 4!

Day 4 of the MFT Release Countdown for June…I hope you all liked the sneak peeks from the design team, we have more installed today for you, so be sure to swing past the BLOG to check them out..

Today, I worked with Birdie Brown’s new set called Party Like a Pirate, super super cute..I paired this up with Ocean View Porthole…and older product, Ocean Waves Dies and the Cloud Stencil..

I worked on the background first, taking a piece of white card stock, slightly smaller then the card front, I applied Summer Splash ink over the Cloud stencil and began to produce a cloud background feature..

I then stamped out my images and coloured in with Copics, die cutting these and setting aside..

Taking some Black Licorice card stock, I ran it through the die cutting machine 3 times, die cutting the Ocean View Porthole, adhering each of these together to form dimension..

Whilst, still at the die cutting machine, I took some Berrylicious card stock and die cut some waves using the Ocean Waves, adding this behind the porthole and then onto the cloud background..

Next, I added my images and stamped a sentiment, rounding out with Gold Sequins on the porthole to complete my card..

Love this set and I only wish my nephew was a little fella again because this set would be super perfect..

Okay, I will be back again tomorrow with day 3, enjoy looking at all the inspiration..
