MFT April Release Countdown Day 3!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend, Darryl and I have had a good weekend, we have had a really productive weekend, getting things all cleaned up again inside this house, which was well over due :) so now I can have a crafty afternoon…

Today, we edge even closer to the MFT April Release, with Day 3 in hand, today we are sharing yet more creations that will inspire you and make you want to shop :)

Remember that there is loads more inspiration over at the MFT blog so be sure to head that direction too..

I chose to use the sweet Pure Innocence stamp set called Fresh Squeezed and paired her up using Blueprints 32 also from this release, along with Party Banners and Grassy Fields, older product..

As always, I stamped out my little girl, colouring in her skin, hair and the glass and with the rest, yep! you guessed it, I paper pieced her, using pattern papers from Tiny Checks Bright and Plaid Patterns, setting her aside once die cut and paper pieced…

I then went about creating a scene, die cutting one of the smaller rectangle stitched dies from the Blueprints 32 from some white card stock, then running it through my die cutting machine again to die cut the inside panel from some pattern paper, Hearts and Stripes, adding both of these to a white card base..

Taking pattern paper from Sweet Celebration and Calm and Cozy Chevron, I took dies Party Banners and Grassy Fields, adding both of these die cuts to the card front..

I added my little girl and then stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set onto a narrow strip of white card stock, adding under this strip another piece of Tiny Checks Bright pattern paper and my card was complete..

Okay, washing is needing to be hung on the line, then some lunch and back into creating :)

She is too sweet Joy. Love the little plaid dress. My mother did a lot of clothes making for our family of nine. Many times there were several dresses made from the same yardage. But we wore them with pride and loved her creativity. I actually hung my sheets out yesterday. Love it!!ReplyCancel
