MFT April Release Countdown Day 2!

I cannot believe we are almost at the full release of MFT April products..

Today, is Countdown Day 2 and there is more installed for you here at my blog and over at the MFT blog, so be sure to head that way too..

I used those sweet little puppy dogs stamp set called, Four Legged Friends, pairing up this set with the Blueprints 32..

Stamping out one of the pups, colouring with Copics and die cutting with the matching die, setting this aside..

I took the stitched frame from Blueprints 32, die cutting out of white card stock, the inner panel I added blending to the bottom using Limelight ink…

Still using the stitched frame die, I trimmed down a piece of white card stock, slightly smaller then the card front, which of course die cut a rectangle, I added this to a trimmed white card and with the stitched frame I added foam tape and placed back into the negative space, adding the blended panel, so that it sat flat to the white card stock..

Next, was to add my little puppy, then to add a sentiment, which I used from the same stamp set, trimming a piece of Black Licorice card stock to cover the bottom of the card, embossing this sentiment with white embossing powder…

To add cohesion to the card, I trimmed a small strip of Black Licorice card stock and added this to the top of the card, then die cut Kraft card stock and a tab from Blueprints 32, along with a heart also from the same set out of Watercolor Wash pattern paper and my card was complete..

Thanks for stopping by and leaving wonderful comments, I will be back tomorrow with Day 1..

It’s lovely. Love the dog. Tell me what are the little card corners in kraft cut from, is it a die? Just balances it beautifully.ReplyCancel
