MFT Release Replay January!

Hello

Gosh it is hot here at the cottage today, 40 degrees again so that is well over the 100F mark for you overseas gals..I say revolting weather..

Today is the release replay challenge for MFT and I am excited to finally be able to play with the January release goodies, seeing as I have had some time off to deal with my Mum who has not been well..

I chose to use those sweet little otters from the Otterly Love You stamp and die set..stamping out on of the otters and colouring in with Copics, I also stamped out some rocks for the little otter to lie against and coloured this also in with Copics, die cutting them out and whilst I was die cutting, I took out the Chill Wishes die set and took the pine trees out and die cut some trees using Gumdrop Green and Sour Apple card stock, along with some grass from the new die set Mailbox..setting all these die cuts aside I went about trimming down a piece of white card stock and applying Summer Splash ink to give a soft sky and water below where I was to have the trees…I adhered the trees, grass, rocks and otter to the card and finished off by stamping a sentiment from the Otterly Love You stamp set..

That completes my card and I can’t wait to play more with those sweet little otters..

For more inspiration, head on over to the MFT blog to view what the rest of the design team have created..

Hugs

So absolutely gorgeous. I totally agree about the weather, we moved to a cool area and it is stinking hot, 37 today in the southern highlands and it’s been in the thirties for most of December. Hope winter comes soon.ReplyCancel
