MFT Countdown Release Day 3!

Back today with day 3 of the Countdown Release for MFT

I created my card using the latest Pure Innocence stamp set called Ice Skater, I stamped her out 3 times, once onto white card stock, then onto to pattern paper 2 times..I coloured in her skin, hair, skates and scarf, I then fussy cut the skirt and shirt..I die cut her out then adhered the paper piecing…

I worked on the background, by die cutting more white card stock using the Snowfall Vertical die along with snowflakes also out of white card stock, sticking with the die cutting, I die cut a Oval Shadow out of Grout Gray card stock and also a sentiment strip out of Blueprints 13 out of Peach Bellini card stock..

Now to put the card together, firstly adding the Oval Shadow where I wanted the little girl to look as though she was skating, then the Ice Skater, I only added 2 large snowflakes, normally I would add 3 as I like to work in odd numbers, but with the sentiment strip sat between these snowflakes that created the 3 for me..I completed the card by adding Rose Gold sequins to each of the centres of the snowflakes..

Well it is time to head to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the team has created for you today..

Back again tomorrow for day 2 of the countdown..
