MFT Countdown Release Day 2

Hi there

We are getting close to the big day!

Today we are at day 2 of the October Countdown Release for MFT

I just had to use those sweet little Yeti again, I think they are adorable to colour in, so I went about stamping 1 out and colouring in with my copics, die cutting out and setting aside…I then worked on a piece of water colour paper and added distress inks, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Forest Moss, adding water and blending the colours together, once I was happy with the look, I die cut out a tree using the dies from Oh Christmas Tree, adding more colour by blending over the top with the same colours…using the blending tool, I applied Berrylicious Ink to piece of white card stock, I then added white gel pen dots over the top to create a snow fall, added my tree and Yeti, then all I needed to do was to stamp out a sentiment from the Hand-Lettered Christmas set and emboss with silver embossing, as you will see below the beautiful shine from the complete the card, I added sequins to the tree to give it more of a festive look..

Be sure to swing past the MFT blog to check out more creations using stamps and dies from the October release..

See you all tomorrow..

Sweet card! I love how you achieved the snowy background by using white gel pens! Blending the green colors for the tree also gives it more oomph than a flat one color tree. The red in the yeti’s scarf gives a bit more color to the card. As for the yeti? It shows a sense of humor! Thanks for sharing.ReplyCancel
