Getting Inky!

Hi there

So at the weekend, I was finding it extremely hard to find the mojo and decided to do a little water colouring, which was fun, then I decided to gather my Tim Holtz supplies and get inky and had even more fun..

I chose to create a card using the technique that he shared HERE on one of his 12 Tags series…

Although I did not own the mini ink pads I decided to give it a go with the larger ones and it still turned out okay and I was surprised at what a kick I got out of it..

I added a stamped image from his Sewing Blueprint stamp set, stamping one directly onto the technique background and then another of the dress form onto a piece of water colour paper, this time with vintage photo distress ink, taking a water colour brush and painting in the image, leaving white parts to the image to make it more distressed..trimmed it out and added it to the main image on the technique background..

Finished of this simple card by adding a Technique Tuesday sentiment that I thought was fitting for the event and a little rub on at the bottom of the card..

FUN!! FUN!! FUN!! I cannot wait to give this another go..

Off to work shortly, but wanted to pop my head into this corner of the world and share with you my inky happiness :)

Hope you have a fantastic day!
