Ink Bleeding!

Hi there

I want to start this post off, by saying thank you to everyone that has left so many comments, emails and messages of all kinds to both Darryl and I on the loss of our beautiful boy Roly dog…it has meant so much to us and we have read each and everyone of those heartfelt and caring comments..

Creating as you knew took a back seat when Roly passed, but bit by bit I have found the heart to pick up that ink and stamps again, slowly I might add, but it really has been a source of comfort..

Today, I got to play around with a technique that Jennifer McGuire shared quite sometime ago, called, Ink Bleeding, you can catch her video HERE..

I decided to pull out some Darkroom Door stamps and have a go of the technique and it was really fun and so simple to achieve…I also had new crafty goodies arrive today and one of those lots was from Altenew, so I added a sentiment from the Label Love stamp set, my gosh is this stamp set going to get a work out, I adore it already…I finished off this really simple card by die cutting a stitched feature around the edge of the water colour paper by using the new Blueprints die from MFT

So bit by bit I will edge back into not just getting crafty but blogging, I will be back over the weekend to share a La-La Land Crafts card that I never got around to sharing with you..

For now enjoy your Friday night!

I’m glad you’re back crafting. My Altenew order came today, too! And Label Love was in there. I’m yet to ink it up, but it won’t be long before I do! ;-)ReplyCancel
