Chalkboard Love!

Hi there

I hope you are all having a great day, bit chilly here at the cottage today, so Roly and I are rugged up in front of the heaters :) which I love…the sun is out but the wind is a bit nippy..

So last night I had the opportunity to hop in the craft room and play with new to me goodies that I have purchased..

I don’t know about anyone else out there, but I am still in love with the chalkboard look and so I chose to pull out the Chalkboard Greetings from MFT and play with one of the stamp greetings from the beautiful stamp set, adding it to some black card stock…

I chose my layout to be quite different from the usual layouts that I normally gravitate to, I cut a piece on the diagonal at the base and added a strip of pattern paper, just to break up the white..

I also played around with the Gerbera Daisy die that I managed to get free with one of my orders through MFT, such a great deal, each month when MFT release new product they have a die set that once you spend a certain amount you get for free, awesome or what :) plus I love flower dies so this one is perfect..

I decided to die cut mine from white card stock and added colour with copics, but there are so many options you can use with this die..

I finished off by adding this and the circle chalkboard feature to the card front, adding some twine and sequins to complete..

I have a spare flower, so I think I will create a Mother’s Day card today for my MIL for her to enjoy..

Okay, tummy is growling, so means lunch time..

Have a great day!
