Patchwork Butterfly!

Hi peeps!

News on this end has not been fun at all, I have managed to pull or tear a muscle in my calf so I am currently attempting to use crutches which I am failing dismally at, so finding I am doing a lot of sitting with leg up on pillow surfing the net

Thankfully, I created this card that I am sharing with you today a few days ago, you may remember me sharing an Instagram photo of the colourful wings of a butterfly..

Using the Patchwork Butterfly from Darkroom Door, this is apart of the latest release from them and it is so beautiful..

I always feel I cannot go past putting a butterfly on a card and well this beauty was no exception when I created it as well..it is large and beautiful, so is a statement on it’s own..

I coloured the butterfly in with Inktense pencils, adding it to a card that I applied embossing paste to and dripped Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine..

I finished off adding a beautiful sentiment from a stamp set I purchased from the sweet Amy Yingling, you can check out her shop at Inspiration Avenue…love her stamps and hoping she produces a lot more :)

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day..
