A Flair for Buttons Blog Hop!

Hi there

WARNING! Heavy picture post :)

I am here today to join in a fun blog hop with the team at A Flair for Buttons, if you have never seen these types of flair then you need to do just that, they are absolutely gorgeous, you can check them all out HERE..

spring 2014 blog hop bannerYou should have arrived from the wonderful blog of Michelle Hernandez, if not I will have a list of peeps in this blog hop at the bottom of this post :)

I created 2 creations for you to feast your eyes on incorporating loads of new goodies new to my craft room..

This first one I went a little mixed media, stamping out a Prima Doll, colouring her skin and hair and paper piecing (LOVE! these dolls, totally inspired to purchase seeing Stephanie Klauck create with them) I added her to a piece of card stock that I added modeling paste to a MFT stencil, drying off and applying distress paints and distress ink..

Completing this by adding twine behind the Flair, that was from Lovely Words 10 and some Tim Holtz tissue tape down one side..

It was so fun to create this creation and yet still keeping my simple style..

Speaking of simple style, how about a card…

This next project, I stamped out the large hello sentiment from Amy Yingling’s, With Love and Thanks with Memento Luxe, Gray Flannel, adding Perfect Pearl, Pearl to the sentiment before it dried (needing to be careful not to smear the ink)..

Not a great photo but you get to see the shine of the Perfect Pearls to the sentiment..

Of course it could not be complete without a little pattern paper or an addition of a die cut from Simon Says Stamp and my go to Butterfly that I added the Capture Life 1 flair to the centre..

Now if you would like a chance at winning some flair just hop around and leave some comments on the blogs as Shelley the owner will be choosing random people to win some flair of their CHOICE!! yep you get to choose, you have until 12am, 21st of April (US time)…

You can also use this coupon code that you see in the picture below when putting your orders through whilst the hop is on, if you are international customers you can continue to use the INTERNATIONALFRIENDS code or the code that you see also..

Have a great day and enjoy your time with family and friends, for me it is almost time for chocolate time, just a few more hours :)

These are stunning Joy, the colours and textures you used for your Prima Doll are just sensational and she is gorgeous! The flair buttons so lovely, something I need! I am already tucked in bed, but you have reminded me I may need to get up again soon to let that rascally rabbit aka the Easter Bunny into the house as I didn’t leave the key out for him. Thanks! ;) xxxReplyCancel
