Overcast day but still a tad warm for my liking…where oh where is my Autumn :)
Yesterday, there was plenty of time playing in the craft room, after a big box of Simon Says Stamp goodies arrived, I told myself to not worry about the house work, it could wait, I was off to play..
I seem to be on a bit of a vellum kick at the moment, I just adore how soft it makes the card and layering it over paper, which I of course I have known for many years that you can do this to soften the look, I decided to do this here on this card..
I die cut the Heart in a Box With Love on the vellum and add it to some Crate Paper, Maggie Holmes Signature collection pattern paper, I sewed both together, leaving the bottom not glued to give it a floating effect..
Deciding to add it to yes of course my go to colour of white, adding texture to the background by using modeling paste once again and the Falling Hearts stencil, giving it a really soft touch also, finishing the card with just a little glitz, die cutting Clustered Leaves onto some silver glitter paper..
Simple but effective…
I figured this could be given to a friend, male or even female, the simplicity allows it in this case..
Time for that all important coffee of the day, had a stinker of a sleep last night…
Have a fabulous day and thanks for visiting..
