Jane’s Doodles Stamps!

Hi Everyone! So sad day today, I have to go back to work today…boo! LOL, anyways I have had a nice break and suppose it could not last forever, even though I would wish that.

Today I want to share 1 of 2 birthday cards that I created for my beautiful Nephew, he will be turning 11 on Saturday, I have to say that time just flies by way too quickly these days, it only seemed like yesterday that he was born.

The first of 2 cards that I created was one I created for my Mum to give to him and this was the perfect opportunity to break out the stamp set that I won from Jane Beljo, her new stamp line is truly wonderful, the quality and the designs are truly top quality, I cannot wait for Jane to produce more of these wonderful stamps, the stamps have been created from her well known Jane’s Doodles digital designs

I cut blue card stock to form a card and using the polka dots in this set, I inked it up with Versamark Ink and stamped the entire front of the card and embossed it using clear embossing powder. Next, I cut a Spellbinders, Label 8 die and stamped the 3 tier cake from the set onto some scratch white card stock and also onto the die cut. I coloured the cake in that was on the scratch white card stock and cut out, adding Glossy Accents to the icing on the cake. Once the Glossy Accents was dry, I attached the cake to the one that was stamped onto the die cut using foam dimensionals. Lastly, I added the sentiment Happy Birthday also from the same stamp set and adhered the die cut to the card front.

Here is another view of the card, so you can see the Glossy Accents.

I loved using Jane’s stamps and I cannot wait to get the rest of the stamp set inked up. So thank you Jane for giving me this stamp set, I love it.

Well need to go and get some breakfast.

Hope you all have a wonderful day, think of me as I return to work…LOL.
