Flower Card

Hi everyone! I hope that you are enjoying your Wednesday, another lovely day here today and I have been stamping away.

Today’s card I started with a lighter version of Kraft card stock, I cut it to the desired size and sewed around the edges of the card stock, I then took my Ranger, Distress Inks, Brushed Corduroy and Antique Linen and blended the edges and also distressed them as well, I then stamped Hero Arts, Design Block Flourish in Versamark Ink over the top and set aside. I took some scratch white card stock and stamped 2 flower images along with 3 leaf images from the Hero Arts, Big and Small Flowers stamp set and coloured them with my Copics and cut the images out (see photo below for what colours I used). Once the flowers were coloured and cut out I then spritz them with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Marshmallow and set aside to dry. When the flowers had dried I assembled them altogether onto the card with some dimensionals. Lastly, I added a Hero Arts sentiment from the, Truly Appreciated stamp set, then added dimensionals under the card stock and attatched it to a cream card.

Photo of Copics used.

I am really happy with how this turned out today, so I do hope that you find some inspiration in my design.

I also just wanted to say a big thank you to all, for your lovely comments that have been left on my blog and Flickr, but also for everyone that has taken the time to come and visit my blog.

Have a great day everyone and I will catch you all tomorrow.
